Got my first car from Tesla this year as well. The process is so unbelievable! I could never buy from a regular dealer again, they give you so much work around to just come to terms eventually and waste hours!

So much wasted time at a traditional dealership. I feel like they need the OG staples button to push when you leave.

Love it, Used Teslas are a Bargain !!! I got a used 2021 M3P in 2023 with 5k miles for 48k! You got one hell of a deal!!! Just stay on top of those wheels and rotate every 6k miles! (May only have enough tire thread for one rotation depending on how often you floor the beast) Always keep the charger plugged in, even if it’s not charging. It’s in the manual. Between us. The Highland Performance Models actually have less instate acceleration than the legacy performance models. They have more pull at higher speeds. That’s the main difference!! Enjoy !!!!

Have the same 22. Didn’t even realize I had matrix which is apparently rare for 22’s. Got mine 57k miles 20k otd. Got it to go with my Tesla solar. Charging off the sun feels like cheating.

What were you looking out for? What's a good price and miles for a M3P right now. 24-27k for how many miles? Is milage useful or do I need to see the battery diagnostics to really know? I'd like to get on for 23-25 I think.

Your car is young enough to still have the standard warranty, right? Otherwise enjoy the car. Congrats!

Correct! Still under factory warranty but buying used from them they add an extra year and 10k after factory one expires.

How much did you pay?

2k for a fresh set of p zeros!! Tesla specialist can go to your home to rotate tires when you book with service on the app.

Did you verify the (AMD + USS + Heat Pump + Matrix headlamps) beforehand or how did you validate that?

Congrats and welcome! What did you have before? Be careful its a gateway drug! I started with a 2023 M3P and now i have a 22 Model S Plaid.

It makes a big difference in cold climates because it's much more efficient than resistive heating, so you lose a lot less range when the temperature drops.

Picked up my 22 M3P this August, also directly from Tesla. It only had 14,300 miles. It has a 9/22 build date. It has AMD, USS, matrix headlights too. I saw a video comparing all the changes in the model 3’s. The guy said that cars made after 10/22 does do not have the USS. 2023 is basically unchanged. Only thing the Tesla rep did for me was take my check.

Yes. You can see the USS from photos. You can verify processor and heat pump in the software screen.

1756/yr and that includes my wife car as well.

Were heat pumps not standard fit on all Model 3s?

About 1/3rd the energy to heat AND cool!

Starting in 2021 they were. Not sure if it began later in model year. Same year they added power lift trunk and double pane front windows.

Felt lucky I found it so easily and was in my city.

Damn, really fell in love with it after a test drive yesterday. Guy told me it had the heat pump, steering heating and enhanced auto pilot pack though.

I bought a clean used '22 M3P and never looked back. Just rediculous power, dubbed it my spaceX rocket. Only bummer is that year was HW3 and still Intel, so will not be getting the new FSD 14.x anytime soon. Heard a light version will come in 2026 to HW3 based cars though, there is hope! Enjoy it and get a radar detector haha.

I agree completely on the rocketship. Mine does have AMD which was a big reason I wanted a later 22 production.

It’s just worth doing the research to see what was changed and what’s important to you.

My son just picked up a model 3 long range rear wheel drive last night with 15k miles for 32k. Frankly I am completely amazed with this car

Hey now. Grey was the free paint when I bought my 23 M3P. IMO, the pearl white, with the black turbine rims and red ceramic brakes is primo.

Earlier this year in July I scored a 40K mile 2019 model 3 and with how amazing it's been for how old it is and how good the battery is it was a gem of a find

I got a 22 M 3 LR. And it has the same features. I believe they are common in 2022

I just purchased from Tesla two weeks ago a 2023 White Model 3 with 12k miles on it. Practically brand new in perfect condition. No evidence of prior use. It was a steal at 1/2 what a brand new 2026 cost. Drives and accelerates like a dream. It was way better buying from Tesla because they don’t play games with pricing. This exact car with such low mileage through the used car market or other dealers would have cost at least $10,000 more than I paid due to the low mileage. Tesla has ranges of prices by year that they stick to with only minor fluctuations based on mileage, unlike most other dealers. And you get a fully certified car, which also usually adds an additional $5,000-$7000 to the price from other dealers. Always buy from Tesla. It’s much cheaper for a lot more. I love my new M3 soooo much. ❤️❤️ I wish it were more than 260mi range, but hubby is an electrician and installing the home charger for me. One odd thing happened: the first week my Tesla battery drained just sitting in the cold garage and Tesla blamed it on the weather. But it was losing 30%-40% in 24 hours after a single 4 mile drive and then parked in the garage. It did that after the next full charge too. This week it’s losing less than 1% under the same conditions. Less than 5% loss after three days parked and driven twice, over 25 miles. I can’t figure out what made the difference. Recently I downloaded the software update and I wonder if that fixed it??

Insurance is personal and different for everyone.

I’ve driven a 2021 M3P and never noticed it had more instant acceleration than my 24 - the 24’ 60-130 mph is 3-4 seconds quicker. At the end of it all the speed isn’t the major difference - handling in the highland is superb
