I think it's cringe in general to have a bumper sticker on your car. I don't think anybody is going to change their driving habits for this. And a passive aggressive statement like this is just asking for someone to mess with your car.

I have FSD on my ‘22 M3. I try to not let other drivers see that my cars driving itself, bc they get upset if they see it’s driving itself. Not everyone ofc, but enough people that when someone pulls up next to me & slows to match my speed I’m getting ready for them to do something dumb

I don't know if it makes a difference. I have a magnet on my truck that says "I'm probably not driving." And an autopilot steering wheel icon. Do people honk less and just pass me? I don't know. I don't actually pay attention. I keep my eyes forwards so the car doesn't nag me.

This is almost as bad the people driving around in their Tesla with the anti Elon sticker.

The average non Tesla owner would likely assume Full self driving is fully autonomous hence the name, when in reality the supervisor (Driver) is still in complete control and can speed up or slow down at will Older people likely never even heard of it at all

Tesla drivers completely missed the point per usual. It does not even matter 1 bit that anybody know anything how this thing work; it’s about horrible drivers use some clankers as an excuse to be horrible.

Why do people get upset?

I had a good laugh, several actually, at all the drivers honking at Waymo cars.

They hate driving, other drivers and teslas.

I had someone honk because I came to a complete stop. I got out of the car and looked at all my tires and shrugged like I didn't know why they honked at me, all while they lost their mind.

Also, most people have no clue what FSD is… If anything, I would just put a “Student Driver” sticker on the car to send people a message they can at least understand (Though I’m not gonna do that either… I’m not putting any “stickers” on my car unless they’re literally race/performance part related. But even then, I’m probably removing the numbers after track day lol)

If I had to hazard a guess I’d say they don’t deal with traffic well to begin with, and seeing someone in a Tesla being not affected by it pisses them off. I could be completely wrong. I’ve never gotten the opportunity to ask someone why they mad, but that’s my best guess

I’ve only been honked at once while in FSD and I use it a lot. And the honk wasn’t even warranted. Is this really a problem?

You should put a sign like Lyft or Uber in the window that says "Self-Drive". It's only fair to warn other drivers.

Why shit on older people in particular? Younger people are pretty ignorant too.

I drive a model 3 and I hate when I can tell someone is using FSD, 25 mph in a 25mph zone when people usually go 40 mph… if you use FSD, you should at least learn to use it so others can’t tell your driving like a robot

It’s not about above the law it’s common sense, even police would do 40 on this stretch, it’s holding up traffic for not paying attention

It's best they not know what your doing so long as your driving safely. I know the need to keep up with the rest of the pack is generally the accepted way. But you shouldn't have to worry about that, just don't show off and give people a reason to hate you. Bumper stickers like this are funny to me but some may find it pretentious.
