Tints n all weather mats!

Getting tints done first thing tomorrow morning. I live in Arizona so all weather mats won’t be needed here haha.

I don’t need them either but I have them. Stains come right off!

Had them in my previous car after coming from Michigan, but didn’t touch them once in the 3 years I’ve been here. But i definitely understand why one would put them, especially maybe for someone as clumsy as me🤣

I didn’t know that record-on-honk is a possible configuration! Will it capture anything leading up to the honk or just the action at honk? I’ve had a couple honk exchanges I already for which I could have used this feature.

lol what % tints you doing?

White really wears well and always cleans up super easy and still looks new after 5 years. Even with a German Shepherd who has ridden a handful.

15% on the sides, and probably 75% on the windshield/match whatever the top is.

M3 is such a fun car to drive. I’ll bet the P is a step order improvement yet. And the Highland and Juniper upgrades to 3/Y are exceptional as well.

Yep. I grew up there but live in the south now. Sabino and Mt. Lemon were the spot.

The car already records everything. On Honk it copies the current content to a separate directory so it doesn't get overwritten. I believe it's 1 or 2 minutes around the honk.

What do you typically use to clean it if it did get dirty?

Don't, if you do double honk it messes up the recording. Learned the hard way.

Thank you! The all weather mats I’m not 100% sure on since I’m in Arizona I prefer the look of the carpet but will decide later on. I don’t drive on the freeway much, mainly just city main roads but I have heard about the thin paint. As far as the charger goes, I do already have a level 2 at home from my last EV and the Model 3 came with an adapter as well which is nice.

I ordered this same configuration on November 24 and have to paaaatiently wait until December 12 to take delivery! 😫 Looks great! Enjoy!

Oh damn! Ordered mine on November 26 and picked up December 4th. It was actually in on the 2nd but they didn’t have a delivery appointment until the 4th. You’re gonna love it:)

Mostly a wet cloth or sponge. At most, a mild indoor surface cleaner gets anything resistant to water cleaning.

Tints done yesterday, and I wasn’t the biggest fan of white interior to begin with but it definitely grew on me a lot over the last couple of days, very happy with my decision.

I tinted mine and removed the wheel cover caps and replaced with the Photon lug caps from Tesla website. Highly recommend.

I did tints a couple days ago. Windows 15% and windshield 50%. Thinking about taking off the wheel covers as well.

My first stop after a Supercharger ( just out of curiosity ) was a supermarket with destination chargers to buy wet wipes 😂 . Have spilled coffee and wiped it off no issues.
