Curious to see comments. I bought my 2019 M3P with FSD in April with 25K miles for $24K before an extended warranty. I bought mine for the FSD, and didn’t even know I bought a performance. Not the most informed shopper😂. But glad I did. The BMW dealership I bought it from didn’t tell me either. They knew less about the car than I did. Salesman had to Google FSD function on the test drive to show me it worked. Think that’s why I got my good deal. And it came with all the bells and whistles. Original owner upgraded everything. Couldn’t be happier. I’ll never own another car. Kept my paid for maxima though for possible power outages😀

that is basically my car and if i could get $21K for it, i would consider selling mine. i haven't checked the resale market so i'm definitely not up on current rates, but i would guess my car would maybe get $14K + FSD, so maybe that is about right depending on how much you value FSD. also, i'm in Los Angeles and there are thousands of these on the roads so probably cheaper to buy one here. i still love my car almost 8 years later and haven't had any issues, so if you got a good one you will get your money's worth, in my opinion.

That's hilarious. The dealerships were staggeringly clueless about what they had when I was hunting for one with FSD. And surprising the FSD transferred, most dealers started having it wiped at some point. Or maybe that was FUD and they just never knew. It's hard to tell with the anti-consumer (and anti-dealer come to think of it) arms race Tesla waged in terms of information/transparency on what you are actually buying when you buy FSD with a car.

It is bonkers that a car from 2018 can run FSD 12.6 in 2025. That is legitimately an impressive feat and value for 20k.

I'd say FSD maybe adds $2-5k... My 2020 Performance was offered $24.5k from Tesla not too long ago, but it's paid off and not worth selling.

Eh, you already bought it, don’t worry about your deal, just enjoy the car.

Why do you say that? If it still charges up and gets you from a to b with 100-200 miles of range or so it's got to be worth at least 10k

I just bought a 2023 M3 RWD / partial premium interior / 8k miles for 24k USD. Couldn't believe the price. Looks and feels brand-new. There are great deals out there.

Just enjoy the your Tesla, Tesla EV are cost much more in Canada market. But in Canada I would recommend AWD instead of RWD for the crazy winter weather (depends where in Canada too)

I also love my white on white 2023 M3P with 19,500 miles that purchased from non tesla dealer last march for $30,000. Perfect condition. FSD not included so subscribed and used frequently. Enjoy your purchase!

I got a 2018 model 3 performance with 180k km for 18,500 CAD with fsd and premium connectivity for life.
19% battery degredation .
Solid deal to me for a car to drive to the train station daily and reduce the mileage accumulation on my model y

2018 M3 LR rwd with 125k miles and only thing I’ve had to replace is the 12v battery.

I got a 23 rwd 35k miles in July of 24 for 23400. Wheel were all scratched up and a couple bits of plastic broken off the bottom. Wear on the trunk plastics. The paint needed some help but it restored nicely.

Honest question: Is FSD on the old hardware worth it? All the commentary here usually revolves around FSD 13 and 14 which are only on HW4 vehicles. Isn't a 2018 not even HW3?

I’m all EV. Wouldn’t have considered one, until a friend told me to test drive one while ELon was in free fall. I was hooked, and took advantage of his unpopularity, and will be forever glad I did!!!! Hate the man, but LOVE the car!!!!

This was my thought- how is it HW3 on a 2018? Did they do an upgrade?

As far as I know the trim level isn’t different, but on all Model 3’s between those two years are: automatic trunk, heated steering wheel, newer camera setup, central console, USB-C, Sentry drive in glovebox, amber taillights, double paned front glass, no hooks in frunk

I ended up getting a 2025 Tesla model 3 AWD for 34k. Only 5k miles on it 😂. Especially since the $7500 credit is no longer available, I wasn't about to spend $54k for a 2026.

yes, 2018 ships with HW2.5 but tesla upgraded them to HW3 if you bought FSD. Also it works extremely well, highway and city.

I bought a 2017 Model S 75 RWD last month for $18,900 with FSD. It was a one owner car that only had 17,400 miles on it and it was mint. I love it, and am legitimately shocked at how good a deal used teslas are for the money. Battery degradation looks to be about 6% as it shows 237 miles on a full charge. I’ll never go back to an ICE car for my daily commuter again.

2023 M3 RWD with 17k miles for $20k after incentives, bought earlier this year for my student. LFP battery has a larger usable capacity and range for daily use compared to my MY LR.

Still a bit naive, not sure what you’re asking? I drive 20 miles round trip to work and it costs me a dollar a day with home charging and affordable power here in Seattle at 10.26 per kW/hr
