Tesla needs to rid strikeout warnings for fully paid autopilot

I love not driving when I don’t have to. I’ve used it on multiple 10 hour roadtrips, only having to touch the wheel when going to charge. So why, under casual use, am I being beeped at constantly and told I have 4 strikeouts before the features are disabled if I paid $8000 for it. For that much I should be able to silence the beeps and have as many strikeouts as I want. This is annoying and needs to change.

No. Paying $8000 does not give you the right to act irresponsibly. Drivers like you are the reason they created the strikeout system

Is your FSD called "supervised" or "unsupervised"?

I don't own a Tesla...yet but i know a ton about them due to my research. But i know it strikes you out, if you repeatably not pay attention., as its called "Supervised" for a reason. (assuming your using FSD)

You hopefully did your research and got what you paid for. Asking for more/better now is too late. You have every right to complain, but saying that simply giving them money should let you be unsafe isn’t the play here. FSD isn’t done yet.

The car will beep at you for the silliest of reasons. Maybe it's drivers like you that need it.

2024–2025 NHTSA Enforcement and New Rules This is the regulation responsible for my anguish. Required that level 2 automation be supervised. Level 3 & above isn’t regulated yet. I will bide my time.

The strikeout system was created for the people who were crashing.

It’s 4 strikeouts before not 4 in total. No I wasn’t zoned out for a long time. The system is pretty strict. People will be on their phones with or without FSD. Having FSD on while on the phone for a few seconds it a lot safer than not having FSD activated. I know you’re on the phone while driving. Don’t be actin all high and mighty

Probably not a good idea to be having sex while 'driving'... 🤓 🤪

I tested it by holding my phone and looking to the side. It warned me and then disabled self driving until I stopped and started the drive again What happens if you get a certain number of warnings?
