Hardwired charger needed. Emporia Pro Level 2 EV Charger

I would wait. There may be other products that do the same thing but Emporia is the highest rated. You'll have to live with this EVSE for a few years so get the right one. I'd live with L1 charging for now and top up with Supercharging. It's only for 2 months or so.

I really appreciate that advice. I didn’t realize this was one of the top chargers so definitely gonna wait. I guess my only concern is that when they say it’s gonna come out January you don’t know when it is and there’s no like pre-buys etc. and once it opens door for available chargers Might get sold out, but who knows . That’s not the Tesla version. It’s for the other version hardwired sold out over there too.

It is the tesla version. Has the Nacs. It is Nema 14-50 however and not hardwired. The one advantage to 14-50 version is if something were to go bad its an easy swap to something else without having to hire an electrician again. Yeah need the hardwired

I would choose hardwired. It's potentially faster and arguably safer not having to pay for a EV ready Nema 14-50 and a GFCI breaker.

Well, that’s what I’m actually doing. However, the hardwired sold out that’s the problem but I guess I’ll just wait January. Hoping it doesn’t sell quick and everybody’s on demand to get it or something.
