Show us some videos of that performance model in the snow

DieSackgasse 2025-11-30 06:56

yes 🙌 headlight heating would be awesome :D

exgokin 2025-11-30 07:22

I lived in the northeast for three years, and I’m glad I moved back to where it doesn’t snow.

New-Company4656 2025-11-30 07:30

I just moved back to IL after living on the West Coast for several years… I might move back just because of the snow😂

exgokin 2025-11-30 07:51

I’m in so cal. Upper 60’s in the 10 day forecast. It was 75 today.

PurpleIntrepid9506 2025-11-30 08:12

Beautifulll!

Suitable_Piccolo_483 2025-11-30 08:23

I been tryna move out for 10 years now

cleverquokka 2025-11-30 08:25

I'm also in soCal. So cold out tonight!! Had to bust out my hoodie!

OneEstablishment5144 2025-11-30 08:28

This loosks like you had a lot of fun. Snowed out lights, and that tint looks dark as hell and looks pretty cool. The one bad thing about evs is that there is no wasted energy to heat the hood or grill and melt the snow. There is no extra engine heat to warm up the car. I wish the model 3 had a headlight sprayer to clean it and wiper on the rear window. The water sticks to the rear window, and the defrost is not very fast and soaks up juice.

KevinDohertyy 2025-11-30 08:40

I haven’t seen snow since 2008

rosujin 2025-11-30 08:48

If I looked out the window and saw snow like that, I wouldn’t go outside until April.

Greedy-Necessary-290 2025-11-30 11:36

Nice photo! Too bad the front lights were off. Did you clean the side camera on the upright or did it melt the snow with the heat generated?

savaero 2025-11-30 12:30

Yes on the performance you can sent all the power to the back. That’s the only software feature I want on my long range.

prettytony0627 2025-11-30 13:39

Snow tires or standard performance tires?

e_ven 2025-11-30 13:53

^^have the same question

Poutine_Lover2001 2025-11-30 13:54

Looks like light is covered by ice/snow. Do people have to scrape it off and hope it doesn’t ice up when driving again?

Famous_Ad7312 2025-11-30 14:14

Looks like snow in snow

avebelle 2025-11-30 14:31

Just be careful. Many folks have slid into covered up curbs.

New-Company4656 2025-11-30 15:13

Yeah, I still check the San Diego weather everyday💀

84FSP 2025-11-30 15:19

My M3P on snow tires is an absolute boss until it hits 8”.  Better than any 4x4 I’ve owned in the snow.

Fergnasty007 2025-11-30 15:22

Me and my lady moved from Hawaii this year (her first time living outside the islands) and shes back home with family for thanksgiving. She had the nerve to complain about how hot it is when its 18 degrees over here lmao I am built for the heat not the cold fr

New-Company4656 2025-11-30 15:23

Dam… Well hopefully you can move out soon! I’ve been moving back and forth between IL and SD a few times in the past 10 years so my chances of going back out there again are kinda high.

jlelandc 2025-11-30 15:35

Just ordered a second set of rims and snow tires for my 24 M3P!

cdurbin909 2025-11-30 16:27

Lucky

cdurbin909 2025-11-30 16:28

There’s heaters in those areas

JDubStep 2025-11-30 17:06

Yep. A huge downside to LED headlights is they run so cool, they do not keep the lenses clear from snow and ice. Some form of anti ice should be required on vehicles with LED headlights, this is incredibly dangerous.

DammatBeevis666 2025-11-30 17:44

And I

Worldly_Letterhead_4 2025-11-30 18:38

Will always

space_munky 2025-11-30 18:44

Love You

Willietrailblaze 2025-11-30 19:00

Is there any option to change this on the long range? Or you are saying it cannot be done? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I’ve been on the fence about a performance vs a long range w acceleration boost

lonestarbrownboi 2025-11-30 19:04

Look up ingenext ghost module

SchlongCopter69 2025-11-30 19:26

SchlongCopter69 2025-11-30 19:28

This thread is pointless without video!! 🙏🏻🤣 Edit: OP has added one in a new post: https://www.reddit.com/r/TeslaModel3/s/1gfmS61WRs

connly33 2025-11-30 19:34

Cant wait to get a little snow and ice here, I want to put mine in drift mode and play around in an empty parking lot.

fatty8me2 2025-11-30 19:34

I can change it with my S3XY knob

Ukrainian_sasha 2025-11-30 22:04

Just the standard all season performance tires

Ukrainian_sasha 2025-11-30 22:32

Im trying to upload one right now, reddit is being a little strange

Ukrainian_sasha 2025-11-30 22:36

I always to try go to a familiar parking lot, wouldn’t want to dent those rims

Ukrainian_sasha 2025-11-30 22:40

Just posted one

Exciting-Cupcake-168 2025-12-01 00:30

Where is this?

Abyssgaming123 2025-12-01 01:14

Typically you’ll be good while driving even in pretty heavy snow but yeah gotta clear it off whenever you stop. And in a near blizzard it can get covered still but any car with leds can suffer from this.

KeeslerCondoChief 2025-12-01 01:26

Where is it?

PugMaster007 2025-12-01 01:31

Looks great!

How do You keep it Clean between the Wheel and inside where the mud /dirt/ salt 🧂 eats and turn it into rust? The filt on the inside doesn’t Really keep it out as it is ”open” and … it gets Really dirty inside… and ultimate turns it into rust! Any idea on how to keep it Clean?

Dull_Support_4919 2025-12-01 21:00

How do you make it do donuts? I tried the other day and the traction control kept butting in preventing me from getting sideways? Its a 22 performance. I tried track mode and even drift mode.

Unlucky_Friend_5343 2025-12-01 21:11

That’s fun but that’s not good for the battery. The water melts into the air pockets to the battery and can degrade its life. If you don’t care not my business, it’s probably more fun than drifting a Mercedes

Retire2the_Mountains 2025-12-02 04:38

Interesting info, it's my first fall with my Tesla and I'm noticing it is having to work pretty hard and it's just 45 degrees.

New-Company4656 2025-12-02 17:20

lol! Lowkey same. I’ll be wearing shorts to the gym when it’s 20 degrees out here because I hate wearing layers. I’m seriously contemplating on just working out here for a year and moving back to CA😂

mother_fkn_crackk 2025-12-04 21:11

I thought the standard performance tires were not meant to be an under 40° weather. I corrected myself. I meant the summer tires, not the all seasons which these look like they’re all seasons.

Infamous-Design1341 2025-12-16 14:00

K2000 en blanc 😍
