Get extended warranty

Seoul_Seattle | 2025-11-29 18:35 | 20 views

Thinking of getting it but wondering what’s your guys take I think it’s like 50 a month and deductible is 100 My pre certified 2023 is 44k now and already had issues with windows acting Wierd. Plus tir puncture (not tesla fault but still driving normally in suburb street of Seattle) and taillight part flew off also (non working part) All in 3 weeks. Drive a 2023 bmw x6 which I’m preserving and gonna put lot of miles on this Tesla and drive 100 miles a day. For peace of mind I think adding this is good but since I run into lot of issues usually does equate to more problems later on? My x6 is at 40k miles and no issues

Buy it if you get peace of mind from extended warranties. $50 a month is cheap for peace of mind. Don't buy it if you don't want to pay for the sellers' boat payments. Extended warranties exist to pay for their jets and Aspen vacations. How long you intend to keep your vehicle is not a consideration. You can argue to buy or not buy extended warranties and intend to drive the car to the ground. I self insure and have saved thousands of dollars in extended warranties. I don't get peace of mind because I've been denied regular warranty claims. By self insuring, I always pay out. It gives me peace of mind that I can pay 5 digit repairs and still be ahead because I don't buy extended warranties on anything. Re-iterating for OP, buy it.

Yeah I did put on the upgrades and opt-in. These cars are great just keeps popping up with situations I’m not used to. My bmw and my Kia hybrid had no issues for long time. But Tesla 3 weeks in …

I was recently offered the extended warranty. My M3LR will be 4 yrs old in a couple weeks. $50/month to extend the warranty (with a $100 deductible) seems pretty fair. I could absorb and expensive repair without issue, so I am wondering. Most add on warranties are losers.
