Hello friends, As I am quickly approaching my 2 year ownership on 12/15 I wanted to provide a data point from a battery perspective. This is a grey model 3 lfp with 19” wheels. I have installed an audio system, sound deadening, lower fog lights, the S3XY commander and led strip, an EcoFlow 800w alternator charger to pull the battery power in extended outage or camping, and my favorite thing a Starlink dish for the road and camping trips. My usage: -40,898 miles -live in the Seattle area of Washington state. -driven to Arizona twice. -driven to South Carolina, to Maine, cape cod mas, then I90 end to end. - driven to and around glacier national park. -never garaged, always in the weather. -charge always set to 100%. I have never reduced it and charge when I need to. This is the key here, I don’t leave the car at 100%. I just don’t plug it In if I don’t need to. - about 50% supercharging. -I drive it hard -just replaced the T1res with the Hancock ev ion thingys. I like them and notice they are much quieter. - I have ran it to “shutdown dead” once to know what it would do. I was around my house and made it home to charge right away. Never on a road trip. Now how has my battery faired so far? - 0 battery alerts or issues -259 miles displayed range. I never look at miles and only % - S3XY app states 3.9% degradation. Although this fluctuates with a full charge and such. -is there anything else to say? Enjoy driving this car everyday. I enjoy it so much, the last two years I have put 1,500 miles on my Silverado. Hurts to change fluids that look so new still. But that’s the life of a ICE owner, lol. Anyways if you have any questions I’m happy to provide details.

What type of fog lights and details on s3xy commander

What did you do for the audio system, sound deadening and lower fog lights? I have a 2021 SR+ and just got the LFP retrofit a few months ago after a battery failure. It feels like a new car.

Audio system is the alpine kit with the sub woofer. https://www.crutchfield.com/S-SFYePbiDWHe/p_500PSS223/Alpine-PSS-TSLA-223.html?XVINQ=GLX&XVVer=1I9M&awcr=690916162453&awdv=m&awnw=g&awug=9052439&awkw=pla-2277651241880&awmt=&awat=pla&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=18593334232&gclid=CjwKCAiAraXJBhBJEiwAjz7MZQpp4sPIIsKM0xsi7fxJZ3ubYZZFkXBAnJ7WD-fadUYOuySDbZiu9RoC1OgQAvD_BwE Sound deadening I honestly don’t know. It was installed by the shop that did the audio. They pulled seats and carpet and put it this thin padding material all over the car. Made a significant difference. Fog lights: https://tsportline.com/products/tesla-model-3-y-led-foglight-sequential-turn-signal?srsltid=AfmBOorVVTLLZ5JMXsMy_sWbE9HwfVy6MKF2OLIWkHDhQLa1p2wFWFOH&variant=44403032785185 I’m glad I chose the LFP. I know there are shortfalls of this Tesla version but I wanted a more bullet proof version, if that makes sense.

any downsides to installing the sound system? need that as it’s the only shortcoming of the car imo after sitting in an LR

I don’t think so. It sounds great and I don’t notice any reduction in range

Do the official battery test. I have the same car with the same mileage. My battery test gave me 90%.

No can-do buddy. I’m living that 110 V life.
