hocuspocus4201 2025-11-27 21:36

Yay! +5% day tomorrow

[deleted] 2025-11-27 21:37

Wow, so many already?

hocuspocus4201 2025-11-27 21:38

Huge number considering the population of 1.5B.

[deleted] 2025-11-27 21:38

Massive sales! Very impressive!

PossibleCash6092 2025-11-27 21:42

10BN Bolivars .

MarioMartinsen 2025-11-27 21:49

Do you know t&c for trillion deal based on goals? It is nearly impossible for him to achieve. And if he does, he is worth trillion

locka99 2025-11-27 21:52

I bet BYD & other EV makers are having a better time of it.

Bryanh100 2025-11-27 21:54

Tesla India collector’s edition. Under 10 sold.

[deleted] 2025-11-27 21:54

100 fools

[deleted] 2025-11-27 21:56

You people are so negative! How many Teslas have YOU sold in India since July? I bet it is zero.

EconomyDoctor3287 2025-11-27 22:02

Investors: potential upside is massive. Better give Elmo another $ trillion payout

CRXCRZ 2025-11-27 22:34

Concerning.

Finnegan_Faux 2025-11-27 22:41

They had 600 deposits back in September, 500 people wised up

Arthur2_shedsJackson 2025-11-27 23:08

There are no Chinese automakers selling EVs in India but you've got a bunch of domestic brands that are doing well and there's also Japanese and Korean brands in the market.

kc_______ 2025-11-27 23:15

About $0.0084 usd, today, tomorrow $0.00000673 usd

worker_bee_drone 2025-11-27 23:33

Triple digits, baby!

sly_sally28 2025-11-27 23:38

BYD announced in September that they had just sold their 10,000th EV in India. Across all EV types (2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, cars, buses, etc.), India crossed 2.02 million EV registrations in 2025. There have been roughly 156,000 EV passenger cars registered this year in India. Just over 100,000 of these were Indian made.

Born-Gur-1275 2025-11-27 23:44

BYD will crush Tesla.

tangouniform2020 2025-11-28 00:21

“Will”? “Is” is a better would. I guess you need to change the tense, too

DRosado20 2025-11-28 00:22

You understand that in order to get a trillion dollar package he needs to make the value of the company around 10 trillion right? He’s not just getting a trillion cash. lol.

Born-Gur-1275 2025-11-28 00:35

Tesla is new to the Indian market, and sales are minimal; BYD will prevent Tesla’s advancement.

Theferael_me 2025-11-28 01:06

I remember when the cultists were claiming that Tesla didn't need Europe, or Canada or Australia as there were new markets to tap, like India...

BuckRowdy 2025-11-28 01:50

Right. It's 100 more cars than they sold in June! Look on the bright side.

FrostingSeveral5842 2025-11-28 02:03

Bullish on this news!

AbjectList8 2025-11-28 03:16

Popular, I see..

Sharkwatcher314 2025-11-28 03:43

Somehow this will be marketed as amazing by Tesla and cause the stock to rise as the headline ‘they have a foothold in a billion person country’s market’ becomes popular and Elon retweets it

War_Fries 2025-11-28 05:32

Imagine still buying a Tesla these days... Even just *thinking* of buying a Tesla is plain wrong.

ProdigalSheep 2025-11-28 05:43

Hahahahahahahaha

grunob 2025-11-28 06:52

And how many of those got sold with fsd? Even getting autopilot to work there would be a miracle.

aussiegreenie 2025-11-28 08:11

I am surprised it is that many

That-Whereas3367 2025-11-28 08:27

The only reason Tesla is still in business is the US ban on Chinese EV,

frechundfrei 2025-11-28 09:01

He sold dozens of cars. DOZENS!

brickedTin 2025-11-28 09:31

You don’t think he can pump the stock to a P/E of 2000? They’ve hit 1400 in the past. It’s not like he has to actually grow the company just pump the stock and he’s been the GOAT at that. He could start selling (highly committed) actual humans in robot suits and investors would eat it up.

Previous-Look-6255 2025-11-28 11:08

Tata (the Indian company that owns Jaguar Land Rover) sells six EV models under its own name in India. Don’t expect much market penetration from Tesla. Take Elons sales estimates, divide by ten, then push the timeframe out seven years or so.

Arthur2_shedsJackson 2025-11-28 11:29

They're nowhere close to being major players in the Indian market except for MG which is under a joint venture with an Indian business. Just go look at the sales statistics.

rockclimberguy 2025-11-28 12:30

Infinity growth rate!

> There are no Chinese automakers selling EVs in India Times of India: [Chinese-backed brands grab one-third share of EV market in India](https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india-business/ev-market-shift-chinese-backed-brands-grab-one-third-share-tata-mahindra-retain-lead/articleshow/125361831.cms)

Arthur2_shedsJackson 2025-11-28 13:14

MG is the only one doing good volumes and as I mentioned before, it is a joint venture between JSW and SAIC so it's not a purely Chinese brand. They're also counting Volvo as a Chinese brand in this article when it just has Chinese ownership. It would be the same as calling Land Rover an Indian brand. Please go and look at sales numbers. Except for MG (which is a JV) no other Chinese brand is doing serious numbers

nlaak 2025-11-28 15:05

>There are no Chinese automakers selling EVs in India > They're nowhere close to being major players in the Indian market except for MG which is under a joint venture with an Indian business. You seem to have a problem understanding that these two statements you made, don't mean the same thing.

nlaak 2025-11-28 15:09

> They're also counting Volvo as a Chinese brand in this article when it just has Chinese ownership. Do you not understand what ownership means? >It would be the same as calling Land Rover an Indian brand. Which it now is. You seem to be conflating ownership with other things. >Please go and look at sales numbers. Please go an learn that words have meanings, and you don't get to redefine those when you use them. >Except for MG (which is a JV) no other Chinese brand is doing serious numbers "Serious numbers". Is there somewhere in the dictionary that defines what that means, or like the other things you've said, is the world just supposed to accept the definition that you haven't provided, and the rest of the world disagrees with?

Arthur2_shedsJackson 2025-11-28 15:23

Do you know that despite having Chinese ownership, Volvo operates quite autonomously? It doesn't develop vehicles in China just like how Land Rover doesn't develop vehicles in India. This is why I wouldn't consider Volvo a Chinese brand. Would you for example consider Mini or Rolls Royce a German brand because it's owned by BMW? Or would you call Lamborghini a German brand because it's owned by the VW group? If you want to talk sales figures - Here's a link to the passenger car sales for October 2025. Do you see any Chinese brand except for MG (joint venture as I had mentioned) in there? MG was 8th largest selling brand in India with a whopping 1.4% of the market share. This is what I mean by not making serious sales. Indian Car Sales Figures - October 2025 https://share.google/TX2Zdidktg6wsfKcU We can keep talking semantics all day if you want but please tell me if you have any data that disproves my point that Chinese brands are not doing big numbers or taking over the Indian market.

EconomicMasterpiece 2025-11-28 17:51

President Cheeto putting a 50% tariff on India because reasons will prevent Tesla's advancement more then BYD will. People outside of the US are no longer interested in American brands.

EconomicMasterpiece 2025-11-28 17:59

Tata just made long term employee and Indian citizen CEO of JLR, so I wouldn't say that they are independent at all.

mjmarx 2025-11-28 19:01

Don't bother. He clearly prefers his fantasy world over facts. Apparently it magically becomes an Indian company when a Chinese firm builds a factory in India. It's nice to know that Mercedes Benz is American now since they have multiple factories in the US. He also claims that Tata is an Indian company, but it has offices throughout the US, and is even listed on the NYSE, so I don't know why he's trying to claim it. Clearly an American corp. Other companies that India tries to claim, but are clearly American since they have operations in the USA: \-Tech: Infosys, Wipro, HCL Tech, Birlasoft, Hexaware, Mindteck, Cyient Pharma: Dr. Reddy's, Sun Pharma, Cipla, Aurobindo, Granules, Natco, Lupin Vehicles: Mihandra, Bharat, Tata (as previously notes, India keeps trying to wrongly claim it) Banking: HDFC, ICICI, State Bank of India (Strange name for a US company but they operate in the US so it MUST be American, right?) So yeah, apparently India, the next superpower, doesn't actually have any companies of their own, they seem to all secretly be American!

neonmantis 2025-11-29 08:57

Explain to us why he is worth so much more than every other employee at Tesla. The ratio is way off, especially for a part time CEO.

neonmantis 2025-12-01 01:42

Same for Ford and GM. The Japanese would have done it in the 80s in the hadn't intervened and both have been bailed out since regardless. Take endless direct and indirect subsidies away and Tesla doesn't exist today either.

Sporesword 2025-12-01 16:00

The stock will be worth whatever Elon wants when the robot army approaches a million units.

strong-sign4405 2025-12-22 22:26

More like Tesla only sold 100 more cars than me this year. Let the bidding start a 1 Trillion dollars

ConversationLow9545 2026-01-17 07:52

Lmao

ConversationLow9545 2026-01-17 07:52

None

ConversationLow9545 2026-01-17 07:53

Its predictable. There is no utility of buying tesla in india, compared to indian EVs and a Chinese one
