New fine print in the tesla FSD policy: You can't "supervise" under the influence.
This is a real issue. People are already terrible behind the wheel, and now these driving aides gives them an excuse to drive drunk or high.
It says a lot that it wasn’t there from the beginning… great management and marketing teams that really care about the customers and public the customer interacts with definitely do this kind of stuff /s
Reminder that it's still SFSD, first S is supervised. Can't supervise while high. Most places consider you're driving the car anyway. Just not obvious to a cop.
I'm sure Elon would disapprove not using both hands for texting
Wonder what stipulations they have in their contractual agreements because wasn't it early on Musk was saying it was self driving implying it was fully autonomous though in the past few years that has changed to some extent.
'Tesla is required to remind you that ***you will be baked, and then there will be cake' - GrokDOS***
I don't think people who DUI need an excuse to do it, they would be DUI in a L1 one car.
Or they just bury their face in a phone and scroll along...until they ram into a stopped fire truck.
I’d rather accept a ride from a baked driver then have some robo taxi pick me up with no driver whatsoever any day by of the week…
Unless it’s ketamine, not sure who added that to their policy.
People who smoke in cars are the worst
Lol, yeah autopilot your way into a tree and then the doors don't open as you burn in the ensuing battery fire... https://www.forbes.com/sites/bradtempleton/2025/11/14/tesla-finally-releases-fsd-crash-data-that-appears-more-honest/
