If the numbers are reported by Tesla....then it's way more.

Musked

> Korea’s Environment Ministry has formally demanded a resolution, warning that continued inaction could lead to the suspension of government subsidies. Oh look, a government that actually works for the people, not the billionaires and the corporations.

Subsidies… Elons life blood.

th3bigfatj 2025-10-14 01:51

it's kind of interesting - there are a lot of Korean investors of Tesla. I'd love to see the Korean government stand up for its people here.

Elon: Without my government subsidy I can't do it

camojorts 2025-10-14 03:12

Elon is the biggest welfare queen of all time.

Musk's boys: FUD ! Media hold grudge against Elon because he doesn't advertise

YamatoRyu2006 2025-10-14 04:26

Its actually because the current Korean ruling party has allegedly turned lefty and I love how the current Korean govt is fighting against xenophobia and stupid fascism.

umtausch 2025-10-14 05:47

Can confirm. Our 2019 Model X is currently in for battery repair albeit a little different issue. They told me we are lucky that it is not a model 3, for those batteries there are apparently long wait lists.

shiroandae 2025-10-14 06:56

Well to be fair, they actively work to support their domestic industry by being tougher on international competitors - not so different from most.

Derrickmb 2025-10-14 07:09

Are these Teslas made in China?

SirLanceQuiteABit 2025-10-14 08:06

Someone pump the stock again

Far_Addition1210 2025-10-14 08:33

It seems a lot? They have had a lot of prblems with the Powerwall 2 as well, tens of thousands recalled and replaced.

capital_folly 2025-10-14 09:27

Curious to see if this leads to policy friction more than consumer backlash. Korea’s subsidy framework isn’t built for long recall cycles.

Tesla cars are a failure

dtyamada 2025-10-14 13:23

Imagine protecting consumers from bad corporate behaviour. What a novel concept.

jaimi_wanders 2025-10-14 14:40

I just saw this about fElon’s Las Vegas venture’s reckless safety violations after already being caught with multiple violations digging their subway knockoff tunnels: https://www.propublica.org/article/elon-musk-boring-company-violations-fines-vegas-loop

iIdentifyasGrinch 2025-10-14 16:42

Dude makes rockets that explode, trucks that trap their passengers & catch fire - can't wait to see his robots (actual 'bots, not costumes with people inside them)

Gluebagger 2025-10-14 16:57

Approximately **125 to 250 gasoline car fires** would have the same carbon footprint as a single Tesla fire. assuming 20 litres of fuel in the gasoline cars according to Gemini

Late-Following792 2025-10-14 19:05

Is this the story of teslas own battery production? It suck?

macondo007 2025-10-14 23:15

Left in Korea. ? Intreating

dorchet 2025-10-15 04:03

Charming-Tea644 2025-10-15 20:30
