When the Cybertruck rolls in, you stop and stare

Personally I’d like to spend as much time not looking at it as I can.

WalkingHorse 2025-11-12 03:39

So, why the heck are you on a Tesla subreddit? Seems counterproductive to your goal

SeventyFix 2025-11-12 03:41

It's acceptable to like some Tesla cars while recognizing a dumpster on 4 wheels when you see one.

TheRealDestrux 2025-11-12 03:41

I used to have a 2019 Tesla Model S Performance. I also have had BMWs, Hondas, Chevys, etc. You can dislike certain cars even if it’s a brand you like. It’s very difficult for a company to produce a car everyone loves each time. I think some BMWs look hideous, especially the newer ones with the weird front ends, or I think Chevy and Honda have some cars that look bad. Tesla is no exception, I like their cars, but the Cybertruck isn’t one of the products I like.

a_dodo_stole_my_baby 2025-11-12 03:42

Tesla makes other cars

WalkingHorse 2025-11-12 03:44

They also seem to attract a lot of assehats.

printingstuffdude 2025-11-12 03:46

I bet you drive or more than likely want to drive something like a Telluride. Just a burden on society. EDIT: I reviewed your post history and yes you're just a typical neerdowell.

a_dodo_stole_my_baby 2025-11-12 03:46

I can see that

TheRealDestrux 2025-11-12 03:47

The cars I drive are pretty tough to guess. I’ve never owned an SUV. I’ve only had small trucks, coupes and sedans. The Model S was the largest car I had ever owned. Also the only non-gas manual transmission car I ever owned. But man was it a rocket.

SeventyFix 2025-11-12 03:48

I actually like the (exterior) Telluride styling.

WalkingHorse 2025-11-12 03:51

Seriously. Someone posts about a CT in a positive manner and you feel the need to crap all over it. Why? Do you think we were all dying to read your contrary opinion? The answer is no we were not. Turd in the punchbowl syndrome I call it. Attention anyway possible. All questions above are rhetorical btw.

TheRealDestrux 2025-11-12 03:54

It’s crazy how a comment that isn’t even attacking the OP or trying to ragebait is getting you so mad.

TheRealDestrux 2025-11-12 03:57

Also, I may not like the truck, but I wouldn’t judge the person driving it. Judging people based on what they drive is very shortsighted.

WalkingHorse 2025-11-12 04:00

Why is that crazy? Wanting people to be a bit more respectful? Not mad BTW. Just over the trend of crapping on every positive post that seems above the norm in Tesla subs. Off to read a book that awaits me. Have a lovely evening/day.

RealHealthier 2025-11-12 04:21

I’ve driven a model 3 since 2019 and I’d also like to never see one again. They’re just hideous. The panels always look dirty and bent, the whole thing seems small in person, and the bed of it is almost nonexistent, making the whole point of it almost moot. I’ll bring home 20 2x4s, full 8 foot length in my model 3 (with the trunk closed). Idk if that’s even possible in a cybertruck

wizkidweb 2025-11-12 15:25

I hate how it looks, but have you ever driven one? I almost wanted to buy one after that lol

_Jhop_ 2025-11-12 15:33

I would never buy something where I don’t like the exterior styling, regardless of how well it drives

RergTheFriendly 2025-11-12 15:34

Staring to see if it finishes rendering ever

TerrysClavicle 2025-11-12 15:36

Absolutely breathtaking truck not only in aesthetics, but in engineering and design. 100% of its haters just hate because Elon, politics, etc etc. They have no actual knowledge of what the truck is about other than "it looks like a kid drew it" or some other mindless sentence, not understanding the requirements of the design given elon's goals.

TerrysClavicle 2025-11-12 15:37

couldn't pay me to drive a teluride. i'd rather drive a camry or accord hands down.

shaggy99 2025-11-12 17:19

I did used to like BMWs, though I never owned one, or even drove IN one. The tear downs that "I Do Cars" has done on a couple of their cars, especially the twin turbo V8s really put me off though. It's like they decided to design the MOST complicated engine, just because they could.

shaggy99 2025-11-12 17:19

Which just about says everything we need to know.

_Jhop_ 2025-11-12 18:41

And what’s that?

shaggy99 2025-11-12 19:02

Form over function.

SeventyFix 2025-11-13 01:21

Maybe. I wish that I had more space when I'm working on a home project and need to get materials.

SeventyFix 2025-11-13 01:23

I do tend to agree - if it's a premium car, and I would argue that the price puts Tesla in a reasonably premium category, it has to look good and perform well. That seems reasonable.

AreaFifty1 2025-11-13 17:06

Probably staring at possible rust spots.. 😔😔

Revz89 2025-11-16 22:37

Stop and laugh maybe..

FleshyMeatCreature 2025-11-27 14:33

Is this satire?

LoadCLR 2025-11-30 09:49

Why not have BOTH for a $90k vehicle?

Randomreddituser1o1 2025-12-05 22:56

Yeah for a while I loved the Cybertruck but a few months ago I realized it's not good looking and got to ask what Chevy looks bad

Zozorrr 2026-01-14 03:57

Yea dis a test drive. Thy steer by wire is awful loose feeling. Just horrible.

Zozorrr 2026-01-14 03:59

lol. Ok!

wizkidweb 2026-01-14 04:35

You can adjust that you know. It was pretty tight when I test-drove it.
