Hope this one has a free trial. Would love to try it out.
Is 13.2.5 a wide release?
Yes sir...
Not yet. It just went out to the usual YouTube superstars today.

Please please please let the “improved camera cleaning” for the Cybertruck mean LESS false triggers and not that it’s going to try to clean more. It just makes a mess as it stands that the wiper currently can’t clean because it moves too fast for the sprayers on the far end to be effective. The end that goes over the camera.
So lame.
Slow releases are good but those guys have zero credibility at this point and I wish people would just stop watching them.
Why?
New version spotted that has an install on a model 3. We model 3 2017-2023 users have been waiting over a month for a promised update before end of 2024 and this seems to be it hopefully it goes wide and people get it in the next week to weeks.
It's really long past time to get this out to Europe. Each time I travel to the U.S. and use Teslas with Supervised FSD, I return to Europe disappointed--angry, even--at just how dangerous the European version of FSD still is.
Same with Australia unfortunately. 2020 FSD paid for. You’d hope at least a free transfer to a new model until they get it out here
2019 FSD paid for. Germany. It's more than a letdown--it's dangerous. Today, I was out and my Model 3 not only refused to make lane changes, but also applied corrective steering in extremely dangerous situations. It also wanted to lurch into a guard rail on the highway just because of slight fading of the lane marking. Two days ago it wanted to swerve into traffic cones. Compare that to what I think is a great (if still not perfect) FSD product in the U.S.
Temper your excitement. 12.6 on my 2021 model s has been a real mixed bag. Lots more brake checking in shadows in the early morning and evening. Really distracting on the commute and has led me to disengage for full drives out of frustration. First time I’ve wanted to roll back with one of these. Makes sense they decided not to call it 13.
Also 2019 model 3 dual motor here, completely differ t experience for me. I love it, absolutely minimal interventions, some trips zero. I only intervened when I thought it was going too fast for an exit. But it made it unassisted. Love it.
In what country? I'm talking about it being dangerous in Germany. I love it when I'm in the U.S.
Why would you want a wide release right away? They do staggered release so if there are any issues only a few vehicles are affected first.
In one drive Friday it slammed on the breaks to avoid rolling a yellow (no car following) and then the very next light it rolled through a red left turn arrow (no oncoming traffic) haven’t seen such poor behavior in a while.
Isn’t it illegal due to European laws? Seems mostly out of Teslas control. And doubt Tesla has much political power in Europe whatsoever. Better hope VW or Mercedes adopts FSD or something to get that change rolling.
This one is bad. Completely forgot how to use roundabouts!
Yours does exits? In Europe?
Are you on 12.6.1 or 12.6.2? Apparently 12.6.2 is much better
To be more precise: No Europe but the United Nations Economic Comission for Europe ... https://unece.org/media/press/395206 with these members: https://unece.org/member-states (incl. many non European incl. U.S.A.) America doesn't care about all.
Doesn’t do well in stop/go interstate traffic (i5 Seattle). Keeps wanting to change lanes and there’s no “minimize lane changes” only chill, standard, hurry now which sucks. I miss my 12.5.x. Would roll back if I could.
Hopefully v13 soon to roll out to hw3 model 3 . Still on 12.5.4.2 here. I guess that’s the price for being an early supporter.
The previous version is so awesome that I'm scared to update it to this one.
I mean, this all sounds like 12.5.4 in my 2017 S so I’ll take a leap of faith that 12.6.2 couldn’t possibly be worse at this point.
Not who you asked, but here is my 2 cents. Chuck is good, but the rest of them always claim FSD is solved and the new release is perfect, and they've been doing that for 4 years now.
> the very next light it rolled through a red left turn arrow Sounds like it's driving just like everyone else on the road.
It’s amazing. Either Tesla is tuning their versions or the influencers are lying. Since we all eventually get the brake checked truth, I don’t quite understand it.
Because every damn version is... 1. Perfect 2. Way better than the last version Both, at the same time.

Gimme v13 already
This is 12.6.*2*, correct? Not 12.6.*1*
When 12.6.1 release we already witness all the hype. But when I get my hands on this... this shit drives 10 mph with S route on the city street. phantom braking all the time. crazy hesitation lane changes...I won\`t trust these EA anymore. I dare to say 12.6.1 on my model Y already back to the level of 11.4.4.
12.6.1
The 2 cars in the last 24h is hardly a rollout.
Yeah, I don't know what this is.

Agree - upgraded from a 2019 3 to a MX with HW4. FSD is leaps and bounds smoother.
Mine theoretically does exits in Europe. It slows for the exit, then I have to initiate the exiting by turning on my turn signal. Then the car usually flies toward the guardrail, takes the exit. If the exit is actually an on-ramp to a connecting expressway, the car continues up the on-ramp and I have to again signal in order to enter traffic on this new expressway. If it's a true exit of the expressway, the Autosteer puts up a warning that Autosteer is about to terminate and I take over.
I just got it. Wide release probably.
Dozens dozens of people are reporting the FSD runs red lights. Mine just did in San Mateo last week on V13.2.2 ai4. Mine also tries to drive on the wrong side of the road and other egregious things. It is far from perfect.
Agreed every single time they talk about how perfect it is and then as soon as I download it, it’s like crashing into curbs, running red lights and doing stupid stuff like that.

Any release dates for the Netherlands?
12.6.2 for HW3 is a step backwards unfortunately compared to 12.5.x. Improvements: steering is smoother, changes lanes for vehicle pulled over on side of highway, more space driving by parked cars. Regressions: still jerky with gas so your head sways forward and back, slammed on brakes for pedestrian on sidewalk while turning at a green light, speed was too slow on some streets, on an on ramp to the highway the car was swerving/bouncing in the lane. Fingers crossed for a quick improvement
