2021 model 3 Performance 100,000 miles
Looking at purchasing either a long range or performance model Tesla from 2021/2022. This one is currently listed for $19,000. Does this look like a decent deal?

21s are famous for defective batteries
I will also note I have been looking at RWD 2023 models. Having a hard time deciding what’s most important to me.
Go for 2023
I got a 23 RWD and it’s plenty fast enough.. unless you are constantly flooring your car (which I do) it’s got the power and efficiency when you want to take it chill. The LFP batteries are known to be some of the best and you are encouraged to charge them to 100% so no having to leave kWh on the table
At how many miles? I have just purchased a 21 performance with 12,000 miles…
def more miles than that but every failure in this subreddit is usually a 2021 if you got warranty nothing to worry about if you dont, i wouldn't
based on random posts i've seen it seems all over the place. 20k-50k or even later. look up BMS_a079
I have exactly what OP is looking at with ~48k miles. No issues so far. If I let Reddit make all my decisions, I’d drive nothing.
look up bms faults in this subreddit and count how many 21's vs other years, I have a 24 for that same reason
Looks like the previous owner unloaded the car right as the warranty expired
