Just subscribed to FSD but still on v13.2.9 — any way to force update before road trip?

Subscribed to FSD this morning on my Cybertruck ($99/month) because I’m leaving for a road trip tonight. It’s showing FSD v13.2.9 instead of v14.x.x I was kind of expecting it to update right away after subscribing, but nothing has changed. Is there any way to force an update? I’ve checked manually and I’m connected to Wi-Fi. Has anyone had success contacting Tesla to get pushed to a newer build, or is it completely server-side and just luck of the draw? Have advanced on. Edit: regular software version: 2026.2.6

No way to force. They are every similar.

Yeah no way to do that. It doesn't always update right away.

On your maiden voyage really open it up on the highways. When you hit 107 mph or 88 gigawatts lightning will shoot down and force your update

I picked up mine 6 days ago and it's still on software 2025.44.400 and FSD 13.2.9. I'm sure the updates will make their way to me eventually. I'm mildly annoyed but I'll give it a month or so before I start thinking about putting in a service ticket.

You are not going to like my answer, but you will have to wait a while to get FSD 14.X. The reason is 14.X is still on the advanced branch of the older FSD 2025.45.X branch and your truck is already on the 2026.2.6 branch. Your truck won't "downgrade" to a older base firmware branch. 13.2.9 is the latest release for your branch. Once they merge the FSD advanced branch with the standard branch then 14.X will become the stable version on that branch and then you truck can start to follow the advanced FSD branch. When will happen? No idea, it could be next week or it could be 2 months... I would think very soon though as they have been on [14.2.2.5](http://14.2.2.5) for a while and it is very good so I would expect it to get merged in soon. FSD 13.2.9 is still very good though and on road trips you are not really going to notice much difference on the highway. UPDATE: Didn't realize 2026.2.9 came out. This will have what you want (they merged the branches with this update) and your Truck should get it soon.
