V2L on Kickstarter…

Zero chance I’d ever support a $2,000 one-way-only device like this, but in case some of you have money burning a hole in your pockets… https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/elejoy-v2h-inverter/elejoy-v2h-turn-your-tesla-into-your-home-backup-powerhouse

Are there any alternative V2L devices unless you have the new MY?

Meh it’s pretty cool actually . I doubt I’d ever buy it . You’d also have to wire your house for it I’d wager . I think it’s a good start to ev /dc home integration . Unsure what you mean by 1 way ? As in it doesn’t take power from house to charge car ? . I guess an aio solution would be better but it’s acting as a generator. Would be even cooler if it accepted  14-50 or tt30 to power the travel trailer in pinch lol

Yeah, I’d want something that is already connected and kicks on when needed I think. At least for 2k.

There are many available now and the requirement is that your Tesla has to support CCS charging. You can have an older Tesla Model but as long as the charge port was upgraded for the CCS adapter these V2L adapters should work: https://tlyard.com/products/tlyard-v2l-discharge-device-for-tesla-3-y-x-s-v2h-charging-station https://tlyard.com/products/tesla-v2l-discharge-adapter-2kw-4kw-for-tesla-3-y-x-s-portable-ev-power-outlet-with-eu-uk-us-standard-socket https://tlyard.com/products/10kw-v2l-discharge-device-for-tesla-s-x-3-y-high-performance-power-supply-with-multiple-output-options-nema-standard-tlyard https://roamenergy.tech/ There are many more. The great thing about the Elejoy is that it will convert to split phase 240v for household power. All the units above are single phase and are not suitable for hooking into a home without an additional convertor like this: https://tlyard.com/products/tlyard-v2h-power-converter-for-tesla-powershare

They exist but they are several thousand dollars more.

Wouldn't this risk voiding warranty coverage, if ever discovered?

Yes

Pretty good value if there's a business case for it. I like the idea, but I'd probably wait for a few more positive reviews in the wild first.  At the moment, for me, I wouldn't pay more than a few hundred for this feature. I have reliable power here. Until then, my DIY 16V accessory outlet is working just fine, and my solar charge controller to output 56V for my one wheel has kept me satisfied.  Perhaps I'm just weird and don't like bringing loads of electronics while camping... 🤷‍♂️
