24 model 3 heavy steering. Doesnt recenter stays stuck

Does anyone know what causes this? I know my car needs alignment but it has gotten heavy and doesnt recenter after a turn and stays stuck(needs little force) to get back to normal position. It isnt that cold. Just started feeling this 2 days ago. Cleared offset in service. Please help with this. Car has 105k kms on odometer in Canada

I would bet money on your alignment. Just went through this with my jetta, alignment fixed it. And it wasn’t out much

When I turn and take my hands off the wheel, the steering wheel doesnt come back to original position. It kind of stays there. That part is scaring me. If that happened with you and alignment fixed it, that would help me calm down.

If your wheels are fighting one another it would make sense why the vehicle isn’t centering itself after a turn.
