I think you are fine. It’s a moving part, it’s not a perfect fit, but it’s better than looking at a dedicated door that can have the same issues or more.

I really needed to look. I think this is absolutely normal. Mine is also like this. Closed, but you can see it’s a moving part as opposed to the other side.
