I am looking to buy one of these cars but im having trouble finding a comparison. I will mainly use the car for daily driving and am looking for a smooth driving experience and comfortability
Always buy a car with good amount of history and recognition. Rox is not a car that has either, it’s a new entry. Leopard on the other hand is the arm of BYD a name which has proven relentlessly over the past 10+ years. Not a hard decision now is it?
ROX has proven and it’s been there since last 2 years . As a brand BYD is bigger and proven in market for sure but same time ROX is going good .
Leopard 8 if you are more of a tech fan, it’s self driving and has more horsepower. This thing is a monster on and off road, an absolute beast. Roxx Adamas is more of a luxury SUV, with attention to detail. The drive is smooth and much comforting, it’s insulated to road with inspirations from Range Rover
The tech behind the two cars is also different. Rox adamas is an REEV (Range-extender) which means the battery is charged by the engine. The engine cannot drive the car, only to "generate" power to charge the battery whereas the Leopard 8 is a plug-in hybrid and can be driven with engine or battery or both. Secondly the Rox is monocoque (unibody) whereas Leopard is a Body-on-frame. BOF is more abuse and off-road friendly whereas unibody priotizes comfort (compromising on off-road capabilities).
