Knox lithium battery

BoysenberryOk12 | 2026-03-10 18:27 | 20 views

Is the knox lithium battery good like the power wall6.0 and 6.1. Actually I had knox inverter installed and it had an issue so had to get it repaired in warranty. My question is should I get a better brand like Dyness or BYD (which obviously are more expensive than knox) or are they all the same ? Just brand difference and different name

Byd and dyness are so good. Not even comparable with these sloth knox. What actually matters is if u have knox inverter currently and planned to stay with it than it is better to go with knox battery so if ever u face any problem it would be easy for you to understand the problems with same service centre rather than it would start blame game.

But having knox inverter doesn’t necessarily mean I should get knox battery ig I am planning to get the best bcz it’s a investment for next 8-10 Years and saving few 30/40 thousands shouldn’t be the priority

Go for byd/dyness/pylontech

Just checked for byd it’s out of stock on diwan international website, where to get them in Lahore. Mall road?

Will byd be compatible with Knox kryton ?

No idea go for pylon

Yes, I think it is, but Knox only has PYL protocol and no BYD one, so keep that in mind. I was thinking of getting BYD as well but ended up buying Dyness, and have been using it with PYL protocol, so far no issues.

So BYD will be fine with krypton too right ?

Should be, tho u would have to make custom BMS cable like I did but after that's done, it should work fine with the PYL protocol.

Will the custome BMS cable be made by the electrician, sorry no prior knowledge 😭

It's hella ez, u can make it urself. U just need that clamper tool thingy that the "Internet wale guys" have. Or u could just ask ur technician to make it if he got it.
