When I long press the button on the steering wheel it tries to enable the acceleration timer, and then I set the timer and long press it tries to enable the accelerator timer as expected, so is it a bug? Is it Fault?

Maybe switching on that display might get you there? I’ve got a Seal so it’s not exactly the same. I can switch options on that screen with the arrows (left - right) and navigate within by using the scroll wheel.
What mode are you driving the car in? Eco, Normal, Sport or Snow?
Eco
I don't even understand the purpose of this function. Can someone please explain? (Please - no guesswork. If you don't know for sure, then stay out! )
Its really not that complex. Its your 0-100(maybe you can set it to 0-120?) timer. So the moment you take off in Sport Mode which is why its saying switch to it, then the timer starts and it will give your stat's to brag to your mates. These days pretty much an EV will do around the same time so less to brag about. I guess the top Seal does it in 3.8 which is still pretty quick, not sure about Sealion
If what you say is true (and I guess it is), then this is absolutely the peak of stupidity! Why on earth would BYD spend time (and money) on such a useless feature?? - when there are so many other things lacking in this infotainment system!
Have a Seal and yeah beats me, used it once and never needed it again. Edit. Never needed it, but it was fun to show my Petrol head mates. Does a Tesla need a fart button, but exclude a HUD?
It's a completely useless limiter, it makes no sense, it just warns me. These cars need a real, adjustable limiter, and then the "speed" timers stuck in the instrument panel as if they were essential, when, in my opinion, much more essential things than this are missing. Sometimes I just don't understand!
Speed limit can be set to for instance 50. If you go above this limit you will get a warning in the screen. That's all...
But how do you activate it? Because when I do long press in the button it goes into the timer and not where we set the speed limit, so it seems a software issue
It is saying to switch do Sport mode because it is trying to enable the timer accelerator, they are two different options, one is speed limit and other one is the timer, it seems for me both ends up going into the timer where it asks for sport mode
Interesting, I have seen many ask why there is no limiter in BYD cars, maybe this is new as definitely wasn't in my car when I got it, but also in Australia we are behind Europe in software versions.
I guess I’ll need to go to the dealer and ask them directly and it seems no one here know the answer for it
You can access it by long press volume. After that you set the speed you want to be warned off. It goes by 10 km. It is a must because BYD is very powerful quiet car and you don't understand that it is going over 130 kmh. By using this option it gives you a red signal and you control ur speed manually.
