Why is it so fun racing bogans in their hotted up bogan cars at lights?

A cautionary stat I got from a cop friend. Around 50% of the tradies they pull over ping a positive test for meth. there is a good reason all of their cars say Anger across the back of them in big bold letters. Their best advice was to avoid them where possible

Well not even racing, but just the take off at the lights for 0-60 with out any real effort.

You never know, you could be the highlight of their meth filled day as they beat you in a race you didn't even know was happening while running ECO mode as you pull away slowly from the lights.

It is but i had a huge narrow escape and its my ego that caused it. Lined up on inside lane at lights, outside lane merges across the lights, guy in hotted up older celica came to lights, revving engine, im in a Phev fwd, we take off, cross the lights, he still trys to get in front, we are going two abreast in single lane in a 60 zone, we hit 107 when i noticed road side speed camera, i crapped myself, at same time other guy, turns into a work driveway (why he needed to be in front when only going 300metres or so??) anyway, i thought my stupid ego has probably cost me my liscence. Since then ive downloaded Waze into car, try to religiously keep to speed limit and watch my bad EGO. Surprisingly after 2 months, i have not received a fine and ive seen other guy still in road so for some reason the camera was not operating. So yes its fun but its also stupid (from a stupid person)

Off the line, in my Shark6 Ive smoked a few bogans in their skylines, a few tradies in their 4 bangers vans, several ute drivers in Raptors and even Tesla m3s have wanted a go. Sport mode is glorious.

Oh I total get that feeling. We have one of those heroes in our village. Needed to get a super expensive beefed up car (compensating much?). Our Atto3 pricewise ~ half of his car. I can't really surpass him but neither can he surpass me 😂 he's so pissed about that, always tries to overtake me but just doesn't work. How I love sport-mode 😂 Meanwhile I'm cruising directly behind him (safety space ofc) with a friendly wave and a smile 😂
