BYD Sealion 7 Shortcuts

Hey, I‘m very happy with my Sealion 7 which I got about 2 months ago. Wondered if we could use this to collect some of the shortcuts that make daily commuting easier. So far I‘ve got: \- Press microphone twice to get Siri / Android over Hey BYD \- three-finger swipe for temperature control \- swipe down from top of the screen for quick controls What I‘m missing is: \- turn off warnings through steering wheel (e.g. with BMWs you can press and hold a button on your steering wheel for 3s to turn everything off) \- a button to toggle CarPlay and the BYD home screen What else you got? Today when i started charging my Sealion completely died, after a lot of googeling I held my key and pushed door lock button 5 times and it came back to life. Some sort of emergency shutdown.

Did you try pressing and holding the centre volume control for 10 seconds? I have had to open and close the door previously for it to come to life.

Not a usual shortcut, but you can access the hidden engineering test menus on the Sealion 7 by navigating to the system information screen Module Settings and tapping "Version" ten times quickly in the menu.

I only a couple of days discovered the emergency release latch for the charger. On the inside of the boot an the side where the charger is

Not sure if Sealion is much like Seal but biggest life improvement for me was having a shortcut to seat position on the home screen.

When the system sounds a fatigue or distraction warning, pressing the scroll button on the steering wheel pauses the warning for 15 minutes, during which no warnings will be given.
