Most likely the traction control HDAS limiting power due to the cold. Once it’s warmed up in the spring and the tyres have more traction it will be back to yeehaw

> But it is worth checking what mode you have your car in. Eco, Normal, Sport, Snow. As this affects the acceleration curves when driving which i think is what you are talking about here.
Its worth checking what OP said in their post. Like the part where they said changing the mode doesnt change it

>Literally the only time Ive felt the punch of power as I used to is when I drive it completly from the charger.
Its all down to battery temperature. Fresh from the charger the battery is nice and warm. When its cold you can't get the juice out as fast.

> I never assume anything.
you could probably assume that if they actually said they tried something, that its not worth suggesting they try that.

Mhm, in the latest BYD Seal update, there was an optimization exactly for that:
**Optimizing the discharge strategy at low temperatures**
In winter or at low temperatures, aggressive driving maneuvers such as hard acceleration can occur.
Frequent hard braking can lead to voltage drops in the battery and thus reduce the available power.
Thanks to a refined discharge control, the vehicle can now achieve a higher discharge power under cold conditions.
This improves:
• Acceleration performance
• Responsiveness
• Overall drivability of the vehicle in winter temperatures.
it improved the power output. I now get 300kW+ with a cold battery at temperatures aroung 1-5°C.
Maybe this will also be in the next Sealion 7 update?

Hopefully cause for the past 3 months i get Max 200 kw output of power.

In a German forum, this problem is discussed in detail: [https://www.byd-sealion7-forum.de/forum/thread/367-k%C3%A4lteproblem-beschleunigung-bedeutend-reduziert-und-es-stottert-beim-gasgeben/?pageNo=1](https://www.byd-sealion7-forum.de/forum/thread/367-k%C3%A4lteproblem-beschleunigung-bedeutend-reduziert-und-es-stottert-beim-gasgeben/?pageNo=1)

I don’t feel any difference during driving but I feel like the charging in Denmark is relatively slower than what was claimed. How much do you get when charging here in Denmark?

I never fast charge so no idea, but just had it in a slow 10 kw/h charger for 4 hours now and the power was back, but tomorrow even with 95% soc it’s gonna Max put out 1/3 of the power. I can put the speeder 1/3 Down and then all the Way Down but from 1/3 Down nothing else happends

You probably need to pre warm the battery on the app... I'm in Iceland and have noticed this once this winter but when I set the battery heater on it was no problem.

Yea dosent work tho the pre heat in our app, does for noone with the sealion here

You can set it to heating while driving in the car on the infotainment.

Yea did today, gave nothing. Also tried after 40 mins drive no change. But charging the battery helps for a bit
