Courtesy lights not working

Has anyone else noticed their courtesy lights (headlights turning on when unlocking and staying on after exiting vehicle) stopped working all of a sudden? mine have been working absolutely fine, for over a year, but suddenly stopped a few weeks ago. Settings are all turned on and it is dark outside. Thanks.
