Locked Glovebox?

I took my UK Dolphin in to the dealership garage to assess the white powder coming out of the airvents, but had to bring car back as the part was on backorder. Got it home to find the glovebox was locked. Rather than take it back in to the garage (I can live with it shut until it goes in again in a few weeks I suppose), has anyone else had a similar issue with it? The handle moves, but feels like it is locked when I try to open it. I. didn't even know that it could be locked up!
