Car on a budget

Soo we are changing our car, we have about 10000$ from the one that we have and the remaining part will be borrowed and will by paid back every month or so. Unfortunately we can only choose from either byd or jetour In the option there is jetour l6 2025 plug in hybrid for 18000$-19500$ or jetour dashing 2026 (or 2025 don’t remember which model it was) for around 18600$ and then there is byd song plus for 21000$ to 22500$ Is the byd worth that much more? The person helping us says that he recommends jetour
