Need Good Solar Installer/Vendor

RegEx0xFF | 2026-03-17 00:24 | 7 views

I have Hybrid solar Inverter installed. Model is Fronus PV 2200. I know its not a good inverter. My current solar guy convinced my dad to install it because of its local manufacturing and better after sale service. Now we are installing battery (~5kW). I wanted to go for BYD (but my solar guy says market main short hai). Dyness and GoodWe are marked as not having enough after sale service near me. So please recommend some solar guy who can install good company battery without all these bahanay and can give me after sale service if anything bad happens to the battery himself. Btw I live near Wah Cantt/Taxila.

You need to treat him with some 'chittar' for installing fronus instead of nitrox as you clearly seem to have the budget. I don't know anyone better in wah taxila though.

You do not need after sales service for Dyness and Goodwe. They are that good. I have been running both for the past year with no issues.

Goodwe , soluna and byd have offices in islamabad and all cities.. they will send it to the main fixing center in Lahore themselves. I would suggest getting a goodwe j<brid with goodwe battery gives you a 10 year warranty. Sell the fronus. Make sure you have AC DC and lightning arrestor earthings done separately and also{ always use 6mm DC wires and above. Fronus will have bugs working with a lithium battery . Just upgrade if you can.

Ideally, if you have the money and can convince your family, you should get the inverter replaced. For example, for GoodWe, the company has a contract with TCS who will come to the customer's home and themselves deliver the inverter to GoodWe's service centre. If you are stuck with Fronus, then you have to check what voltage of battery the inverter supports, 24V or 48V, should be 24V. Second, whether it can really support Lithium batteries or not. Third issue is compatibility with the BMS. See [this problem](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2azXBebSihc) with itel battery connection with VoltronicPower inverters. Your inverter is almost definitely a VoltronicPower inverter, but maybe the issue has been fixed by now. In your area, the biggest company with nearby after-sales support likely is only itel. If possible, try to bring the inverter to the sales shop, get it connected with the battery, and properly check BMS compatibility before paying.

Every solar guy my dad meets tells him that "andar sab china hai, upar name jo bhi ho". So he went for fronus. That's why I was asking for some well known solar guy

🤦 China has deye and china has voltronics. Both are miles apart.

The youtuber Amir lives somewhere near Wah and to me appears to be the most competent solar person out there, by far
