Standing light / European parking light?

Soldiiier__ | 2026-01-13 10:00 | 29 views

Do any BYD models support European parking lights For those that don’t know, all the European cars I’ve been in have a way to select either left or right parker lights on to help with visibility on dark/narrow roads. VW/Audi/Alfa selectable by using the indicator stalk Benz/BMW via a selector on the headlight switch Thanks

There isn't a way of choosing either side, you can have them all on but then they turn off after a while, at least from what I read in the manual

I have a Sealion 7, which doesn't have parking lights. The so-called city lights only work with the ignition turned on. My BYD doesn't have parking lights that illuminate one side of the car. Unfortunately.

If they turn off, surely they're not compatible with EU road laws? All cars have to have the ability to keep parking lights on when the vehicle is off and locked.

No idea, I just read the manual. I'll give it a try later but from my experience the lights turn off after a few seconds depending on what you select in the menu

Most Asian cars don't.
