Thoughts on the Volvo EC40.

I'm looking to buy an SUV (preferably EV) in the 55-65 L range. I've been looking at the GLA, iX1 LWB, Q3, and the Volvo EC40. The EC40 currently seems like the best option to me, mainly because the German brands offer entry-level models in this price range, whereas the Volvo feels like a more fully loaded product. Am i making the right decision? Also, are there any other brands that I should check out (BYD, etc.)?
