Aftermarket / custom wheels - need advice on offset

Hello everyone, Planning to get 20x8.5 wheels, trying to decide between +38 or +40 offset (or possibly something else), paired with 245/45/20 tires to keep overall diameter close to stock. This will be for a daily-driven BYD Sealion 6 — no track use. Just aiming for a clean fitment that looks good while keeping things safe for suspension and long-term wear. Also wanted to confirm if my OE specs are correct for reference: 235/50/19 19x7.5 ET45 PCD 5x120 CB 64.1 M12x1.5 Appreciate any feedback, especially from anyone running similar specs 🙏
