Where's the manual

Stepho_62 | 2026-03-18 23:49 | 6 views

Sitting in the car park in Tulley recharging my new BYD Atto 2 and decided to have a look at the manual which I expected to be in the glove box. Of course its not! Can someone tell me where to get all the info to understand my new car?

Just want to point out, knowing where the manual is should be one of the first things you check when getting a car :D It might be accessible in the app (I haven't got one, so can't confirm) [https://bydautomotive.com.au/brochures/BYD-ATTO-2-Owners-Handbook-2025.pdf](https://bydautomotive.com.au/brochures/BYD-ATTO-2-Owners-Handbook-2025.pdf) But here's the manual for the Atto 2 online. Found with a google search for "BYD Atto 2 manual australia"

A PDF manual for each car is available on individual car page at the very bottom under ‘owner’s handbook’ [https://bydautomotive.com.au/atto-2](https://bydautomotive.com.au/atto-2) But they should probably update their website, as on their manual page ([https://www.byd.com/au/support/service/owners-manual](https://www.byd.com/au/support/service/owners-manual)) it only has 3 models listed on the dropdown menu.

The manual is in the car software. Navigate to the system settings on your dashboard and it should be one of the options.

In the main screen tap the 4 squares icon in the bottom menu bar. You should find it there

lol, I knew it would be there somewhere. Its home in the garage now, I read up on the home charging n recharge it. I had an interesting drive from the coast to the Atherton Tablelands, rain so hard that at some stage it impacted the collision avoidance

Mate, thank you for responding, I downloaded it to my phone to read, (expecting to be there for some time) went in search of a coffee n a toastie n when I got back the Yurika Charger was back to 90 percent so had very little reading time and was back on the road quicker than I thought
