BYD Sealion 7 and snowy roads

Probably best thing on BYD cars is snow mode and generaly how it handle snowy roads.

For me it works very good in the Snow Mode.

The seal performs really well in the snow

Very smooth, handles Like on rails.

Felt super safe and had really fine control over the car in snow mode with the Tang.

SL7 AWD in the UK, mine was fine when we recently had snow. Snow mode worked great.

Netherlands here. We have a few weeks of heavy snow here. The car is just fantastic. Real life example: I waited for a Kia ev9 to leave at a charger. Heavily snowed place with ice and frozen bumps. The Kia could not get away. Spinning wheels. No motion at all. Some bystanders and me helped with pushing and we got it moving after several attempts. So I hesitated a little to take that sane spot with my SL7 awd but gave it a shot…. As if driving on asphalt…! No problem at all. In and out. No wheelspin, no slipping, no difficulties. Just easy parking. I do have winter tyres and used the ‘snow’ setting.

I've got a Seal not a Sealion but it's awesome on snow. Feels really stable. The traction control is awesome, I played around accelerating on ice/snow in snow mode (with the traction control on) trying to make it spin the wheels and I couldn't. It accelerates on ice but with a slight delay in how it picks up speed, it feels like driving an ICE car on a normal road.

Just had the chance to test snowmode on my seal u (not 4x4)....excellent acting on snow... Impressive 💪💪💪

Thanks for the question. Canadian here interested in BYD now that it looks like we can get them. We got 30 cm the other day and it was scary driving.
