Sealion7 projected range - how?

Ohmyadas | 2026-01-07 18:55 | 37 views

Sitting in traffic this evening, -7'C outside, listening to some pleasant music, watching the adaptive led's in the Sealion 7 cabin slowly change colors, looking at the projected range and wondering: **WHERE IS IT GETTING THIS INFO FROM?** I fed the data into Gemini and realized that this number doesn't reflect the last 50km or the overall average energy consumption (AEC) at all - it’s about as realistic as a warm summer sunset... https://preview.redd.it/1t8cc2cw4zbg1.jpg?width=1197&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dc4ecc4aa4f6ca1b3cef4a8d1da1270df4126dc5

It's a waste of screen space.

they call them guess-o-meters for a reason.

When I’m driving in city, the range is absolute bs. But but, when I drive up to Sydney or Newcastle or Brisbane even, the range surprisingly becomes almost accurate just until I hit city traffic and it goes to be again.

Its usually done in perfect conditions so thats the max amount you could drive in them like if youre driving in a hot area or in summer you'll get more range than in winter or snowy area
