Charging issue?

Hello, I have an Atto3 and the weather is around 2°C (35°F) at the moment. I charge it as home with a 7Kw station. Usually the car takes it all, but I noticed lately that it can only take 6.5Kw while the station is sending 7.2Kw. I was wondering whether it is caused by the temperature drop or if I should call the technician of the station or the dealer? Thank you for your replies

The charger gives 7.2KW but there are losses along the way. Most of the losses, especially during low temps is due to the HVAC system keeping the batteries warm. It is normal occurrence.

You always get some power loss as heat along the cable due to internal resistance of the cable itself. I have a 0.6kw loss. It's annoying, but consider this has been happening in all your wiring around your house forever. You just couldn't measure it. I have a 5m run from my charger to my car & another 4m back to the fuse box. I chose the 5m cable rather than the 10m tethered because I wanted less loss. I guess you have a similar length of run?

Thank you for your reply. I have a 8m cable oustide and around 3 inside to the fuse box. Sure there will be some power loss, but usually the gap beween what the station is sending and what the car is receiving is pretty close (I mean when I check the respective app, both say around 7Kw). It is the first time I notice such a gap.

We have 2023 Atto3 charging via Victron 7Kw charger from off grid solar. System shows 7.2Kw output. Car shows 6.4kw charge. Consistent for 2.5 years
