Waze as default navigation with HUD and widgets in a panel

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to set Waze as the default navigation with HUD support and navigation in the panel (widget). My car is a BYD Sealion 07 China version.

Nope, my SL7 is on V3.0 software and as far as I know HUD navigation is only supported on Apple Maps & Google Maps. Sad since I’m mostly using Waze, hopefully it’ll be supported in future OTA updates.

Waze is only possible with HUD support on Android Auto for now

It's not the OTA update. It has to be supported/enabled by Waze itself. Apple has exposed the API needed - hence why Google Maps is able to be displayed on the HUD. Waze is targeting to support HUD on CarPlay in 2026

Thanks, will try with installed Google map. Because Apple CarPlay is not available for Sealion 07 China version
