Funny. My SL7 rear right tyre basically always throws a warning and is always 2-3 psi off what the others are even though I pump it to the same.
This happened to me too for my Seal. https://www.reddit.com/r/BYDSealAus/s/54ZJU0ZQbJ I fixed it by just filling up the tires to the recommended value.
But why is it only that tyre with the warning, not the rear left which is the same pressure, or the front left which is lower?
Change to kPa. The conversion between kPa and PSI will mean that the rounding is the same. kPa will give you more accuracy, so you'll be able to see. FWIW, both probably need air.
What is the rated tyre pressures for your car?
Same pressure reading = There will be some rounding that is hidden. Front vs Back = if you have premium, front and rear tyres have different pressure.
Door says 40-42 for front and back
Thats the solution to your problem
Yeah, but it doesn't explain why it's only that one tyre that is triggering the warning, and not others.
Someone else explained already that it's a rounding error. You're focusing on that rather than focusing on your tyre pressures being so low that they might become dangerous to grip levels as well increasing your tyre wear. The reason tyre pressures are displayed on your dash is to provide the vehicle operator with information to act on this problem. Get some air in those bad boys, put about 42kPa in them after a drive to the servo.
That could explain the two equal tyres, but not the front one that is a lower pressure than the rear right. Ice topped them all up now anyway
Depends what the alarm levels for each wheel is, regardless it's been caused by low pressure and will be resolved by keeping the correct pressure in those tyres.
This is a bad joke. Depends on a lot of factors like external temperature, etc. Also, it can't be reset ("nah I'm good") or just disable the warning. I got this since my tires were replaced to winter ones. That .1-.2 pressure difference doesn't mattar but the warning is really annoying but can't be done anything about it. Any ideas are welcome how can it be make disappear.
You can search reddit for previous posts, I feel like this gets posted weekly.
Interesting, my sealion7 also always complains about the same tire all the time. I am filling it up every 1-2 weeks, all others are usually fine.
You likely have a slow leak
Check the temperature of the tyre as well A tyre being 10°c and 32psi is different to a tyre that is 11°c and 32psi
Yeah, inflate your tyres properly...
lol, you can't really read, can you?
