Purchased a dashcam at TopBYD. Followed the installation procedure yet this issue persists. Has anyone run into this problem? Any help would be appreciated.
Not sure if you installed the cable yourself? If so, I saw on another thread that this may be due to having plugged into the wrong socket on the MCU. Coincidentally, I did the install today too. Fiddly to get the plug in.
Just some more information would be great. Seal U, Song Plus pre installed cable or Seal U /DMI 2025 installed cable yourself?
I had exactly the same problem last week, a few weeks after installing the dashcam. I sent the video to TopByd support and they acknowledged that the dashcam was defective and immediately sent me a new one for free.
