Camera overheating and disabling

dearlordhelpmejesus | 2025-12-20 05:15 | 27 views

I've had my Atto 3 for a bit over a year and in the warmer months the intelligent camera (the one that controls cruise control and the like) will turn off because it's too hot. Living in Queensland, Australia means that this happens much more than once in a blue moon. Has anyone else experienced this or should I be raising this with the service centre?

That's absolutely wild! Is it parked in direct sunlight? Like north facing on the driveway? That could be my only guess as i would think during driving, the air would cool it even to the outside air temp

Yes, it happens to me too in India. When the outside temperature is more than 38-40 degrees Celsius, with direct sunlight falling on the windshield. It starts working again after the car is in some shade.

It happens while driving while in direct sunlight like _themonster_ described.  Edit: on mobile so can't tag them sorry.
