Is anyone gonna tell the stock price?
Tell who?
ELMO will make his crook moves again by merging Tesla with X, xA and SpaceX and g.e. sell cybertruck in between the companies on 10x the price to cook the books. Once again people will invest like sheeps...
It’s been a fairly bad move to date, but how do you short Tesla? I think now might be the time!
Just let it burn don’t short it
Yeah on second thoughts too risky if Enron does a dodgy merger of SpaceX with xAI and Tesla…
Always the same with Tesla
Tesla had the potential to be a great company which would have been worth the hype. However, after Musk got involved and pushed the original founders out, the cars became over engineered, with underwhelming interiors and less than ideal safety. Rather than fix issues, many of which were due to his interference, and work on FSD, he either hyped and deceived the markets and public, or he got very publicly distracted with things he had no business being involved with. He made one good business move early in his career, and because he’s a raving narcissist it went right to his head and he ended up thinking he could do anything.
> ELMO will make his crook moves again by merging Tesla with X, xA and SpaceX and g.e. sell cybertruck in between the companies on 10x the price to cook the books. Man, it's basically like the schema that nvidia is running, transfering money around to buy your own products. How much of the current tech economy is doing these things?
I bought OTM puts in July prior to the EC since the long-promised June rollout of the taxi service in Austin was a load of shit. I was right on that but the stock still moved $150 against me, for no good reason at all. This was play money so no big deal, but it still cost me the price of a nice guitar.
Even worse, SpaceX is integral to the US space program and national defense - the Government will not let them fail. Taxpayer money will be funnelled into his companies.
You buy `TSLQ` ETF
"Taxpayer money will be funnelled into his companies." Let me add to that statement Massive amounts of taxpayer money will CONTINUE to be funnelled into his companies Agree?
giant game of musical chairs. when the music stops no one knows. aint no way robots are gonna save it. nopeeee
Welp we can’t have a techno fascist state without our money or our consent
Sad to see that one man both built and destroyed Tesla. It is even more disheartening to see the blind board of directors who agree to keep paying this man.
To complicated. He could get loans with his stocks as collateral and buy new stocks without reporting it. This would be illegal, but would keep the stock afloat
All bets are off while Donnie is in charge, I bet the US military can guy a lot of them ... and rockets.
Tesla stock is only go up!
…and he’ll do it with our tax dollars.
At this point, Tesla's valuation is based on the data they've collected and continue to collect, and the idea that they're really an AI company. Musk's acquisition of Twitter and creation of xAI both play into that story.
In this comment, you basically described Zuckerberg to a T- took credit for a product he didn’t really come up with, that product created a ton of money, then his latest pivots are turning out to be money burning pits. To Zuckerberg’s credit, though, his product (fb and instagram) do actually make a shit ton of profit
Good video. My only tiny complaint is at 4:20 ish talking about super chargers they said Musk realized the issues with lack of stations and addressed it. Let's not kid ourselves. He probably wanted to put charging stations at a porn theaters and call them "charge-hers." Or something else equally fucking stupid just to get retweets from 16 year olds. There's no way he was the one to see a macro industry wide issue and come up with a logic, well organized, multi-phase solution on his own. Instead, smart people at Tesla worked all this out and he took credit as usual.
Only if they can prove the data Tesla collected are useful. I think they are garbage data especially pictures collected from Tesla cameras.
If it's possible, Zuck is more evil than Elon. But, yes, in terms of being a "success", no comparison - Zuck made actual money and made it without deceiving investors (but by deceiving most of the world on a constant basis).
So Google stock should be priced at 10 or 20X it's current price? It's laughable to even put those two companies in the same league. One is a complete con artist who says his companies are.....whatever is popular at the moment. The other has accomplished major world changing things -and continues to do so constantly. So, no, the "AI" company with no history of doing anything useful would not be worth that kind of money.
It blows my mind that even with the auto designed and engineers he hired....they still could not build the cars with a 1/2 decent suspension! Don't these famous "artists" know about basic destructive testing? We all know that if Elon were allowed to create things - well, he was...and it's called the Cybertruck. That's his level of talent.
I could realistically have described any of them. Bill Gates stole DOS from IBM. They’re all at it, that’s how they make their money, no morality.
Yeah but it depends what you think the goal is. He is the richest man on Earth so maybe what you think the goal of the system is, is not the goal of the system..
Entire fucking market red today except for Tesla in the green. What a fucking joke.
"The market can be irrational longer than you can be solvent" or whatever the quote is. Tesla stock is not subject to the same rules everything else is.
How much of the US gdp figure is just money moving but nothing productive happening? I don’t think the economy is healthy.
> X, xA and SpaceX I've never really thought about his weird love for the letter X, but it really is in *every* fucking company of his, isn't it? He couldn't rename Tesla since he didn't found it and the brand was too established, so he made the Model X instead, the first model where he really was in creative control from the start.
Unless you are told it's great, then it is. Just a little gullible.
I hear you, but I believe in Mark. The metaverse was a long shot, but I feel like he has always understood the culture better than the other billionaires. I think he’ll continue to run social media.
Once Tesla merges with SpaceX, I don't think Tesla has bankruptcy problem in the next five years.
So many pathetic comments. The Model Y and Model 3 are not only the best cars ever built. They are MADE IN AMERICA 🇺🇸 with the most amount of American parts. You all should be ashamed. Hopefully, none of you are American.
Gates promised DOS to IBM before he had it coded, but he didn't steal it from them. IBM didn't have an operating system and tried to buy it from Digital Research (and didn't) and then went to Microsoft. IBM also made a bad licensing deal with Microsoft. The better argument is Gates and Jobs stealing from XEROX PARC.
He basically used CP/M as the base for MS-DOS, but included other things he bought or ‘acquired’, it was more IBM than most people realise. Pretty much like stealing an old car, buying a new engine for it, then replacing the body parts with things you ‘found elsewhere’ and passing the whole thing off as a new car you designed and built yourself.
It's not all that different than Lockheed Martin. The difference is lockheed plays by 20th century grifting rules. Deliver a product. Look professional. And vacuum every dollar you can get your hands on, especially with a bunch of (lobbied) change orders. It took, what, 25 years to build that new fighter jet? SpaceX plays by 21st century grifting rules, which are more open and brazen like 19th century grifting rules.
Hahaha! That is so true! Side note, do you happen to live in Salt Lake City? That place is absolutely beautiful! The views, skiing, and the nicest people in the world!
They're also made in China and Germany. The American ones have the worst build quality though, which is quite something given how low that bar is.
Or smart people just daytrade the sentiment moves technically both directions
I did back when I made the account, yes! Beautiful city but a lot of weird environmental problems (smog, etc.) as it grows from being a big *small city* into a small *big city.*
Swastikas on wheels
Like every Ponzi scheme, it can’t last forever…
