He was right about two big things, the American automotive industry will eventually get crushed by EVs due to petroleum culture. The scale of battery production and the cost reductions that happened with scale. He also positioned Tesla well to take advantage of both of those things. He has also been right about some stuff of less significance as well but I ain't got all night to compose from the bathroom. Tesla is now a fucked company because of all of the shit Elon was wrong about, or lied about. It's hard to tell at this point if he is willfully lying or if he actually believes he can manifest change through prediction. Would be and odd personality disorder... Oprah Winfrey disease.

In late 2024 Musk provided Tesla governance that vehicle growth would be between 20 to 30%. Instead it appears there will be an estimated 10% decline and will be the second year of declining sales in a row. The taxi was to be 1/2 million on the road suggest a year ago. There are 30 in a test program and typically only 5 on the road. Accident rate is extremely high at about 1 accident every 40,000km. While we have no indication of who is at fault in these accidents but statically this would be like the average person being in 1 accident of some sort every 2 years...

He actually drove up spending because with his cutting actions through DOGE, they were force to rehire people he let go, also during the months of chaos, there were lost tax revenues, some calculates that his actions caused 150 billions in more spending and even worse causing 100 thousands of deaths because of the shutdown of USAID agency.

This is debatable. I don't think we know why the stock surged. Yes, it correlated with his wild claims, but the actual reason is most likely manipulation of the options markets or something like that. I don't buy the narrative that retail is pumping this stock... "retail" is also who should be buying their cars and they clearly aren't. So as consumers retail is anti-Tesla, but as investors they are pro-Tesla? Makes no sense. Manipulation of the options market makes a lot more sense; which doesn't require Musk to pump it, just that big money is willing to pump the stock price up.

He should be sent to El Salvador for destroying the federal government, and lying about finding any waste, fraud, or abuse.

Don't knock someone's improvement. That just stops people from wanting to improve. The last thing the world needs is more people feeling like they picked a team so they aren't allowed to change teams no matter the new evidence or data.

Don't forget about the increased spread of diseases due to cuts to USAID which long term will also drive up medical costs for the US.
