New owner to be! Test drove Monday, finance agreed Tuesday, driving away Friday

Just wanted to share my exicitement, I’m picking up my first electric car this Friday! After test driving the BYD Dolphin Surf, Boost trim, on Monday and getting finance approved the next day, it’s all happening fast. The test drive was a great experince, smooth, quiet, and surprisingly spacious for a compact EV. The Boost trim’s range and extra features, like the larger battery and electric seat adjustment, really sold me. Coming from a small petrol car, the instant torque and automatic transmission are already a game changer. We were lucky enough to agree to take the showroom car, which made a 5 day turnaround possible, so grateful for that! Anyone else made the switch to electric recently? Any tips for a first time EV owner, or Dolphin Surf specific advice? Looking forward to joining the community!

Don’t look at the range on the dashboard, look at the percentage. And enjoy !

Enjoy, as soon as you stop thinking like fuel as in running the "tank" dry and start thinking, whatever I can just pop it on charge for an hour now and keep you levels more up than down, you will love it, you won't look back

Where are you based in? How cold are your winters? I ordered one as well and I'm in Estonia. Cold winters. I'm curious how other Dolphin Surf drivers are managing with cold climates.

UK, so not the coldest generally. A few weeks below freezing per year maybe
