Try both regen braking settings, see which one you like. Take it for a long drive and check out the cruise control modes.

Before you get used to using the start button, turn on auto power on / auto power off. This will make the car turn itself on when you unlock it and open the driver-side door. It also turns itself off when you lock it. This means you never need to touch the start button. This avoids being in a state where there's a human in the car, but it's not powered on. You don't ever want it to be in this state because the human may be at an inappropriate temperature. You may think it's OK for a human to be at a slightly sub-optimal temperature but the car doesn't: It gets really worried about it and starts beeping the horn at your neighbours. (The system that does this is called "Child Presence Detection" but it doesn't know the difference between you and a child.)

Remove Hand Break assist or something like that. It has the A symbol inside a circle. It could be usufull though it stops the car forcefully and I didn't like it so I prefer when stop at traffic lights put it manually if I am boring to press the break pedal.

Medical_Cress_6805 2025-12-13 06:48

need to try it

Medical_Cress_6805 2025-12-13 07:14

I just use the regenative breaking

tiranosauros13 2025-12-13 07:59

Regenerative braking is different from what I describe. Hand Break in all cars is the mechanism where you enabled manually or automatically in full stops Regenerative breaking is the mechanism where an electrified motor breaks the car and at the same time regenerate a part of energy. In some cars regenerated breaking can full stop the car also but not in any BYD as far as I know.

ooh my last car what I have is 2005 year citröen😂😂

SexyDraenei 2025-12-13 08:14

the A symbol is auto hold, and it doesnt do any automatic braking. it just keeps the car still once you have already stopped. its nothing to do with the parking brake/hand brake

tiranosauros13 2025-12-13 09:29

I have deactivate it and auto hold still works. Eg on a hill the car don't go back or front. For me when I activate it it's like listening as activating the parking break. Mayber you are right Though and the parking brake not activated. Still, this function stops and starts the car too roughly.

Feel free to set the "adjust to speed limit" to on in the ADS settings, just don't get your hopes up on it actually adjusting the speed ;)

I thought you meant in the app, since you just had a pic of that and ask what settings.

_Ale24 2025-12-13 14:33

Medical_Cress_6805 2025-12-14 13:39

Medical_Cress_6805 2025-12-15 13:43

Its turning on when I open driver door but Its not turning off when I lock car

Medical_Cress_6805 2025-12-15 13:45

and why my car keep looking software updates its not even say uptodate or somthing

WinterBarnacles 2025-12-15 22:47

Are you sure you turned on both settings? There's one setting for autopower on and another setting for autopower off. Also when I say it turns itself off when you lock it, I mean when you get out of the car and lock it, in case that wasn't clear. I always use the button on the door, not sure if it works with the key.
