I’m loving the new update with proper climate control schedules including seat heating/ventilation and steering wheel heating. But what does this new icon do?

I deffiantly needed this option because my dumb brain doesn't hear engine sound sometimes and think the car is off and just lock the car a go so this help alot incase i ever forget and im far away or to lazy to go back.

Doesn’t your car honk its horn if you try to lock it with the ignition on? Pretty sure mine does
Mine does as well, but it also triggers if a window is open or if a door is slightly unlatched or not fully closed. Sometimes I press lock while I’m closing the door. I’ve also noticed that the app now has an open and close boot option, which wasn’t there before.

Maybe, but if in the next update they made the writing bigger so that you could read the fortune teller and percentage of charge at a glance, it would be better.

I did not get those new icons in my app. And the planning for heating is only for temperature i can plan max 24 hours ahead. So that is a pretty weak update for car. Tang EV MY 2024

Normally, that symbol references a turning physical engine. I would assume this is a "Hybrid ICE Stop" button to force the car to EV only
Tested this on mines, Hybrid Seal U it completely turns off the car regardless if the ICE is on or not. Does not force it into EV.
Atto 3 in AUS does not have that boot option but has windows, I dont think it needs it because if you press lock while windows are open, it closes all windows including sunshade. The boot option is much useful.
Window close option is good if you leave the car running and lock it. The windows then do not close if it is runner, in this scenrio you would use the close window option.
Regarding Schedules, i want to create a schedule to turn on the heating in the morning. But doesn't seem to be a setting to turn off, does it? I want a schedule to turn on at one time and turn off another time, is that possible?

I don't know why the first thing I thought was to stop the car from moving, even if it's in motion, in case someone stole it. Damn that's sad. But of course, the "stopping the ICE" option makes a lot more sense.
Just tap it and it will tell you that it switches of the engine. Do people investigate anything at all themselves??

What do you think I’m doing by posting it in here? I work in tech and have 0 issues pressing buttons. My general rule of thumb is not to fuck with something uninformed when that thing transports me at 70mph. Call me crazy.
I don't have it in my Seal 5 DM-i so I think it's only for Pure EV.

All these function updates on the app, and I'd love to have a button that can crack the windows open like 1 or 2cm in the app. Would be great for letting the heat out before getting into the car...
Did everybody get this update? Because I just updated my car (Seal) and the app and did not get this Feature nor the climate control settings.

Hi there… I have the same model… but my one is boost… I was wondering how you find the consumption as I I think my one consumes more than I expected
Hello! So you won’t find it on the app but it is on the car. Click on settings and navigate to Energy… you’ll find it all there. Out of curiosity, where are you based? I ask because I’m in England in the middle of -4c weather and the cold weather really affects EV batteries and their range. Apologies if this was already common knowledge for you!
