Is this some kind of joke, the whole 'build your dreams' lettering is misaligned and spacing incorrect, let alone letter C and R. 🤭 Looks like they stuck it on themselves, not came from factory decals
I see a lot of BYD here in Shanghai with missing letters. The summer was really hot and the glue gave out. Cheap cars made cheaply. Ohh for the people downvoting: you have no idea how much Chinese people complain about the terrible build quality of BYD cars as none of you understand Chinese to watch Chinese social media. But here is a video translated to English: [https://youtu.be/i\_Vhk0Fvs1c?si=54Ezj-FbBbqJhz6l](https://youtu.be/i_Vhk0Fvs1c?si=54Ezj-FbBbqJhz6l)
Ok, maybe I will keep an eye out for mine in the next summer.
Well, if the letters fall off, all the better.
Probably a repaired and repainted rear after an accident.
That statement sounds cheap. I hope they remove them.
That's a lie. Here in the northeast of Brazil it's 40 degrees Celsius in the shade and the letters never fall.
I'm so confused which BYDs get build your dreams on the back.. thought it's not on any chinese ones, but checked some of my vacation photos, and it seems to be on all newer models. In germany it's on Atto3 and Dolphin. And definitely not on Seal and Seal U. Pretty common to replace letters in China, guess someone thought it to be funny to do so.. As long as you don't repaint it completely, you can pretty much do anything with your car.
Found the Tesla employee 🥀
Not sure why you get down voted when that’s the case In Malaysia here where our weather is 30 degree all year long , I’ve never seen lettering drop off no matter how cheap are the cars
My Chinese imported Yuan has build your dreams on the back. Newer models (2024+) started dropping this for a normal BYD logo.
I always wanted to rearrange a land Rover to say Very Disco!😏
Build your creams, its great advice.
Well that’s creamy…
Nah, Teslas are ugly on the inside. I got a Roewe...
Chinese cars made for export are higher quality to save face. [https://youtu.be/i\_Vhk0Fvs1c?si=54Ezj-FbBbqJhz6l](https://youtu.be/i_Vhk0Fvs1c?si=54Ezj-FbBbqJhz6l)
Some models have only BYD text on the back and older cars have the old, glowing logo still. BYD releases and sunsets cars all the time and no one keep up with it. I gave up and I am driving in Shanghai every day.
Chinese cars made for export are higher quality so the company do not lose face. [https://youtu.be/i\_Vhk0Fvs1c?si=54Ezj-FbBbqJhz6l](https://youtu.be/i_Vhk0Fvs1c?si=54Ezj-FbBbqJhz6l)
It would be better on an "ICE" car........
Ive been saving up baybah.
Pies everywhere
And yet BYD is still one of the best sellers in China even though it is not the cheapest option by far, curious. Also, you do realized that people outside of China also have experience importing Chinese spec BYDs right? Also, consider the cost of dedicating a whole different manufacturing line of “higher quality” version of the same car for foreign customers, quite unrealistic.
The traditional Chinese characters clearly indicate that it was made by Taiwanese people. In China, BYD is definitely a leader because of its own supply chain. BYD's cars are almost the most cost-effective. After BYD started making electric buses, it accumulated a lot of battery technology and is currently the world's second-largest battery manufacturer. Anyone who says its electric cars are bad is either a hater or a competitor trying to smear it.
This seems to be just a joke of the owner.
My yuan plus chinese version 2025 variant says BYD and it is nicer.
