Shell x BYD discount (UK)

I've had my shell account migrated from the old app to the new Shell app. (They forgot to move one card over) but the main reason for this post is, I think Shell are trying to be sneaky. In my account it said my Discount would end in August 2026, and Auto renewal has been turned off. So I've just turned it back on (costs nothing). So just to make you aware to check your promo code.

So far my experience with Shell is average. Had my car ordered, did the activation and my card was locked as private charging only.. I waited few weeks because I didn't really need to use it. I had to call them to enable the public charging. I tried to use the new Shell app, logged in and my card was not here, so I am still using Shell Recharge.

I did apply for it but then to activate the car it asked for way too much information and also the photo of your driver's license. That alone made me stop instantly to activate the card, there's no need for so much information!

Wow we have that here in Singapore but only 25% for 3 years and of your choosing to which charging company you wanna go with. Shell is the dominant EV charging service here which was what I went with. Very convenient.

my Shell account doesnt show the BYD subscription after migrating from the recharge app, it's carried my BYD card over but nothing shows in subscriptions and it shows full prices on the map... any ideas?
