Don't use TOPBYD for accessories. Dash cam update

I bought my dashcam from Aliexpress, but everything else from TopBYD and didn’t have an issue. I have seen others complain on my local BYD owners Facebook page and generally these places bend over backwards to resolve the issue. Maybe give that a go.

I bought everything else from aliexpress but they didn't have the white connection dash cam. Only thing I got from them and it was a bust lol.  I'll post on the Aus Facebook group next and see how that goes. Thanks.

The products coming from TOPBYD are coming from Aliexpress... just get the reference of your dashcam and look on Aliexpress.

I tried for a while to get a white connector dash cam but came up short. If you can find one please let me know.

My experience with Topbyd was amazing, all products delivered in good shape and quality, i have also exprience strange thing that never happend somewhere else, after i bought everything the next day they announcement a 20% off for black friday, so i tried to contact to cancel my request and pay 8% pentality as policy then repurchase with the 20% offer so i will save 12%. But they told me to not cancel and they will give me 20% off and already refunded the money back. This was a great way to deal with customers never experience same anywhere else. So it could be an odd sitiuation for you, you can give it a try again with customer service. Best of luck

TOP BYD is great. Just because you didn't like the experience, don't try and tell others to not buy from them.

Yeah hopefully they will see that thier logic is a bit flawed on this one. They sent me the wrong item and then wanted me to send photos of the packaging of the right one. They wont believe they made a mistake and the burden of proof is mine to produce something i never got lol.

Yeah fair enough they have a lot of good reviews but you can buy most of their products on aliexpress for cheaper. This is just a warning post. People are free to do what they want of course.

I would say almost everything is just products from foreign countries, bulk purchased and rebranded. 95% of Amazon items are available on aliexpress. I have made a few purchases from TOP BYD and had zero issues.

I'm glad you have had good experience but unforntaley i didn't. I tried working with them and working through troubleshooting and they were helpful but then they asked for something i didn't have and called me a liar and scammer lol. Imagine ordering an xbox controller and then being sent a ps5 controller. Instead of an exchange they want you to produce the packaging for the Xbox controller. Not a perfect anaolgy but the situation i'm in makes no sense lol.

They sell accessiories for BYD cars. They are an online store from China but ships internationally. Their products can usually be found on aliexpress or other sites for similiar prices.

Coincidentally I just received a dashcam and cable that I bought on AliExpress.

I've just had 2 items get delivered from topbyd, also some other items from them when I first had my SL7 delivered. No issues at all. I bought my dashcam from taobao and works fantastic.
