It's cheap headline grabbing when you're a broke startup. It's just reeks of immaturity when you're an established company.

Tim-in-CA 2025-07-14 17:02

Elmo has the emotional intelligence of a 12 year old

love-broker 2025-07-14 17:03

If we had serious regulation, they wouldn’t be allowed. Supervisor intervention is limited to hard stop via opening their door. They can’t steer to avoid anything. It’s again a laughable effort from a ketamine addicted adolescent.

wootnootlol 2025-07-14 17:05

Haha, he's so funny! Women want to be with him, men want to be him! He's truly the best person to be alive ever!

Inside-Welder-3263 2025-07-14 17:06

That's a bit generous. 12-year olds feel guilt, shame and try to correct their behavior when they hurt other people. Elon feels none of that.

bootstrapping_lad 2025-07-14 17:17

Kids in the future are not going to believe everything that happened during the Trump and Musk years, it's simply too obsurd. They'll call it AI, deepfake, an exaggeration. Truth is stranger than fiction.

MochingPet 2025-07-14 17:18

I mean, you think you're joking but plenty of fans still support him and they don't care about the image of the map.

SigSweet 2025-07-14 17:25

You're optimistic. I believe people are seeing abhorrent behavior rewarded and normalized. I expect many more shitheads to climb over each other just to put their boots on the rest of our necks. No one is stopping it, and there really is only one way to deal with bullies.

CompoteDeep2016 2025-07-14 17:46

My 6 year old son is offended by that statement, just that you know

Engunnear 2025-07-14 18:01

Maybe Tim didn't complete his thought, and meant to say "a 12 year old sociopath"...

ColossusofNero 2025-07-14 18:16

At least now, when your family dies, you’ll know it was in the shape of a penis.

Federal_Owl_9500 2025-07-14 18:23

At least it's clear Musk is back making important decisions at Tesla.

blazinsmokey 2025-07-14 19:18

Yea but dicks get clicks so mission accomplished

Arglefarb 2025-07-14 20:08

This past weekend, in a conversation with someone who said they were going to buy a Tesla, I was asked “why wouldn’t someone buy a Tesla?” and “why don’t people like Elon Musk?” Each question was followed by a comment on how Tesla cars are the best electric vehicles and how Elon is so smart. The American public is capable of an appalling degree of willful ignorance

RocketLabBeatsSpaceX 2025-07-14 20:33

Reeks of desperation. Elon knows his online memes made him popular in the past and is leaning into it.

MochingPet 2025-07-14 20:55

Correct, plenty who don't care and some that still love him

daveo18 2025-07-14 20:56

He knows his fan base too well. Juvenile humour and promises of taking them to Mars.

Slypenslyde 2025-07-14 20:59

Make them the boss and give them all the money and call their cruelty "Ambition"?

Ok-Bill3318 2025-07-14 21:04

Sending them. He ain’t going

cantusethatname 2025-07-14 22:06

Elon is a bad joke and Tesla is a poor excuse for both a car company and a software company.

ramencandombe 2025-07-14 23:16

Came here for the tip jokes - disappointed

techbunnyboy 2025-07-14 23:17

Elon “maybe if I make robotaxi penis shaped we will get more riders? “

Stewth 2025-07-14 23:39

He has the engineering knowledge of a 12 year old, too

dtyamada 2025-07-14 23:45

But if you ride it do you get a free pony?

OpeningAd447 2025-07-14 23:49

They’re not wrong, but the fart button is my favorite model 3 feature

Tim-in-CA 2025-07-15 00:37

Lol

tangouniform2020 2025-07-15 01:47

I saw a vid of a kid and his grandpa in a train being pulled by a 80 year old steam locomotive, a 2-4-4-2 logging loco for the curious. I made the comment (this was in 2019) that when the kid was the grandpa he could tell his grand son “when I was your age there were still more steam locomotives than self driving cars”. The last steam locomotive built in the US has been back in steam for just over 5 years. There are about 150-160 mainline steam locomotives still under steam. How many cars does Waymo have running? Probably more.

Odd-Adagio7080 2025-07-15 05:08

Ass, gas, or grass—Nobody rides for free. But there’s only one option with a tesler; you’ll get screwed in the end.

dtyamada 2025-07-15 05:11

Ah ... the service area makes more sense now ;)

tony3841 2025-07-15 11:19

Wait that was true? I thought people photoshopped it into a penis 😂

[deleted] 2025-07-16 10:47

That implies that kids in the future are even going to understand that difference between truth and falsehood exists. I'm not at all convinced that will be the case.

CouncilmanRickPrime 2025-07-17 03:31

We've passed immaturity when he's also been accused of flashing his dick at an employee. He's creating sexist, hostile environments.

Icy-person666 2025-07-17 05:17

Not sure if they want to be with him but boy do they want to have his babies.

Middle-West-872 2025-07-17 13:32

I think it is fake news. The real map would have edges marked by roads and intersections. Boundaries of the "penis" just cross the roads in random points.

jhaluska 2025-07-17 16:06

On second thought, I'm wondering if this is just search engine pollution. In other words, it's possibly he exposed himself and is trying to make it difficult to search for the story.

Janky_Forklift 2025-07-20 03:32

Lmao I was certain that image was a fake 🤣 surly Tesla would take that kind of thing seriously. NOPE!
