It's literally Elon. I will not buy another Tesla if Elon is in charge. And I've only owned Teslas since 2014. My current is a 2023 X and I bought that just as Elon was going off the rails (in fall of 22). I almost didn't buy it. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't have. That's hindsight. I can't imagine the Tesla board trying to give Elon $50 million (or was it billion) still? And are they still trying? The board should have fired Elon.

He had good points with going all-in on electric cars and defending Pride in 2018, but he also had bad points with his labor practices and corner-cutting. Gradually, the bad outweighed the good. Now, Musk is fully in supervillain mode, burning fossil fuels without pollution controls in black communities, killing black people and harming farms because USAID didn’t give him millions of dollars without due diligence, etc.

Musk is rich because of liberals, mainly in NY, CA and the federal government (Obama, Biden). He got an insane amount of handouts, tax cuts, subsidies, money from coupon trading schemes and direct contracts (SpaceX).
